We are doing everything right

That was just brilliant, great game of football credit to both sides, Blackpool well deserved winners UTMP

Great o/p

Some strange folk on here have short memories.

Two years ago the ownership and set up we have now would have been beyond our wildest dreams.

When people state they have to pinch themselves sometimes they are 100 per cent right.
Exactly what I find exasperating Angel, it is a time to rejoice, albeit sadly at a social distance

I sort of disagree with that. People want to look forwards not backwards. It's about the positivity of looking ahead and why I gave a 👍 to Hazis quote of Critchleys words.

So we lose a game away on an ice rink to an in form team who had beaten 3 of the top 4 teams n recent weeks, 0-1 to a dubious penalty and should of had at least one pen ourselves. What happens this board goes into meltdown again with doom and gloom. We are still as a club doing everything right, we are still work in progress but a very bright tangerine future awaits. Patience grasshoppers.

Well said Hazi, I still have nothing but optimism here. We look a better team than in Sept and certainly a better team than in Jan.
We’ve still got a team gelling and a decent second half of the season sees us challenging for promotion.
Admittedly our plan B looks better than our plan A at the moment (4-3-3) but as that favoured formation is probably only 3 or 4 months in for the majority of our squad (who would never have played it as lower league players) we are making great progress all the same.

The moaners go quiet when we win - it’s almost like they’d prefer defeats as it allows them to revert to type - I fear their real lives must also be blighted with pessimism too?

Sooner we get back in the ground the better then this team can see the real weight of support behind them. UTMP

Spot on Hazi, keep the faith ! I am .

To be fair Hazi and Chunky, there's also a large body of posters who post both positively and negatively. I think we're all allowed to be jubilant at the good whilst venting our frustrations when it doesn't quite work.

Always allowed to share opinions - it’s the sheer extremism I don’t get.

Both posts are spot on. Until we get back to a stage where all teams have played pretty much the same amount of games it's hard to fully judge but at the start of the season I would have hoped that we would have been in and around the play off positions so perhaps we are six or seven points short as it stands. We got off to a bad start so I hope we can gain more points in second half of the season than we've done in the first. But as I've said on another thread I don't think our team is that great to take any game as a given three points.

Happy where we are at the half way stage, play offs if not more still very much achievable. UTMP
We certainly don't play total football mate

That was shelved after 10 games

Our football is actually quite direct playing off Madine most of the time but its a results business so was never really sold on the entertainment thing

Having seen all the teams in the league there is nothing to fear

I expect the play offs ...

Looks like the total football has been shelved for the championship and Premier

For the first time in my lifetime the club is being run right from top to bottom, an impressive back room team of good people assembled by the best owner we could of ever dreamt of only a short time ago. we have invested in a top top coach and exciting talented young players who intent on trying to play total football, it won’t happen overnight but we are not far off, we have taken giants steps forward as a club in the last 12 months. They now deserve 100% support from the fans, sit back, be happy and enjoy the ride, this club is on the up.
Watched the pool since 1978 and I've never had a feeling like this.

Anyone else find it even gutting that we're not there. Imagine the noise on Doncaster? Maybe 10,000 on?

Proud to be a Tangerine, with all the injuries and Ballard on international duty our squad is being tested to the limit and coming up Trumps. Yates MOM awesome performance, Garbutt best strike since Juan Tony Ellis and Eamon O Keefe, Turton take a bow son, KaiKai sheer Class, Ward got serious know how, Embleton great link up play, Gabriel turning into a serious quality footballer. Thorniley played his part well, Mitchell a revelation. UTMP

Can’t agree more Hazi but apparantly there are quite a few numpties on the board who appear to be wanting to throw themselves off the top of the tower if Critchley doesn’t resign after such a shocking result and performance at PA today!
You’ll always get the odd ill informed knobhead on message boards, the majority can see now what’s happening and it’s great, UTMP (with great thanks to Mr Sadler)👍

Let’s be honest Critch and the club have done a great job to be in a strong position for the play offs at the business end of the season. The unbeatables with this run. UTMP

Take a bow Neil Critchley and his team of merry Tangerines 🍊 A great season whatever happens but a place in The Championship would be a fitting end to a glorious campaign. UTMP 🍊

Well done young Phil. 👍
