'We woke and all of the guards were gone'

Generally outdoor activity poses little risk but when places become as crowded as, for example, the Prom was today, that risk must surely increase to some extent. Intended to go for a run there this afternoon but took one look at the hordes at Cleveleys and drove back home. Personally, I don't want to risk catching covid when I may not be vaccinated for a while. Always felt sorry for the soldiers killed in the last few days of a war. But, it's personal choice, of course.
Why didn't you just park up away from the centre ?
There's loads of room on the beach - particularly once the tide started to go out
Chance of an infection is as close to zero as you can get

A very silly post.

I`ve been out walking with my daughter today, the one allowed in my bubble, on a lovely day and that`s great but we all know that some push the boat out too far, beyond the guidelines, which is why the infection rate is still increasing in 20% of local areas. Where the infection levels increase of course so does the chance of variants and mutations developing that may sidestep vaccines currently available. So how would you feel if through stupidity and irresponsibility that disaster happened and we had to have another lockdown and many more avoidable deaths?
How do you know the people who were with someone weren’t in similar bubbles to yourself doing the same activity??

I did Fairhaven to Lytham today, it was packed out, a few Lytham places have adapted to try and make money and were doing a roaring trade and I loved to see it. They’ve had it tough the locals businesses.

Some people have lost their minds with this. Its accelerated a problem that was already there. Society full of grasses and nosey bastards who find purpose in life trying to micro-manage everyone else, because their own lives are so dull and they don’t like to see other people enjoying themselves, painful Norris wannabes.

Its madness to criticise people for being outside and getting fresh air and exercise, especially when they see these people doing exactly what they are.

“JuSt THInk aBout the 130,000 who have died of THIs sHow SOme REspECt!”
*within 28 days of a positive test.

Protect the NHS
Shield the vulnerable (they’ve had the vaccine)

We’ve all done our part, things need to open up earlier businesses and jobs need saving, the data points to it, but the dates can’t move forward just backwards... seems fair?

No doubt plenty were but you`d be naive to think others aren`t breaking the rules and spreading the virus. There are always some that can`t be patient and wait till it`s safe which contributes to 20% of areas still with increasing infection numbers.

You’d be extremely naive to think that the 20% of area still with increasing infection numbers is from people meeting up. I’ve told you before hospitals are 40% of transmissions and Care Homes is massive too. Hospitality, gyms, beaches, they have all been proven not to be massive spreaders.

However, that doesn’t fit with your, blame it on the public mantra. You’ll be telling us to wait two weeks for the spike next, just like after the BLM protests, VD Day parties, Leeds winning the League, Liverpool etc.

As long as you’re ok in your bubble though! Im
Alright Jack pfffft.

(I`m)Alright Jack is a load of bollocks.I am concerned for my children ,my granddaughter and the country in which we all live.We have already seen what happened at Christmas,a second spike and many died as a result of too many getting together too closely.Because of the vaccinations now being givensome think that`s the green light to do what they want . Dr van what`s his name was pleading with everyone last week to behave well and obey the rules because he obviously feared how some were behaving.

Anyone who has followed the rules to the letter is a moron.
Just who the fuck do you think you are calling people morons for protecting the life of a loved one. I have followed the rules (stricter here in Ireland than in the UK) to the letter to protect my wife who has several serious health problems. How does that make me a moron? You might have read gazillion articles but that does not make you wise.

Meanwhile, down the coast in Formby...

I suspect it was much the same in Blackpool. People breaking travel restrictions to go to the coast from areas with much higher transmission rates than the Fylde coast. The fact is, you're not supposed to travel outside your own area except for essential reasons. A day on the beach isn't one of them

Ah shut up you dick👍

It’s the supermarket shoppers that make me laugh...what do you see...
People with hand baskets with 3 items in...hardly essential shopping is it...
You could prob get enough stuff in one shop to last 2 months I’d guess..? So i’m asuming that’s what the sensible ones do? Am I right.....?😎
I'm afraid that fresh fruit and vegetables don't last longer than a week, never mind 2 months.
We do our shopping once a week, and stay at home the rest of the time.

The saddest thing for me during this pandemic is the way in which normal rational and generally liberally minded people have transformed into borderline Nazi’s.

Despite overwhelming evidence to confirm outdoor activity poses tiny to zero risk for transmission they still persist with their bullshit...

“But what if someone had stepped in Covid and then walked through the park and then a child stepped into it and then ate their shoes for supper for example......... how would you feel if you were the child’s parent and they then passed it onto their grandparents by pointing in their general direction and they went on to die, taking another 1000 unsuspecting pensioners with them..... hey hey hey.... how would you like that!?”

How about grab hold of your bollocks and get a grip !!
You pensioner murderer!!
