Went to Old Trafford last night

Mate had a spare ticket and so went to their EFL game. In front of us were a group of Arabs (judging by the keffiyehs), next to us were a couple from Sweden and on the other side were a couple from Estonia!!
Fair play to United, they must do great business for Manchester's hoteliers but where's Steve from Stretford?!!

Watching on Sky or jacked it in!

Watching the Wrexham documentary and they’ve got Americans coming over to watch Wrexham, must be frustrating if you can’t get a ticket to watch your home team you’ve supported for years but some fella a thousand miles away can. Luckily I don’t think I’ll ever have that problem

Probably got a banning order in the 80's and not bothered going back.

At Newron Heath with his Norwich scarf 🔰

I can't really say anything I've been to Spain and was lucky enough to get on a trip to watch Barca. These behemoth clubs can do this I'm afraid.

Hate all the bollox that united don't have many real mancunian fans. We had the largest local fan base in England bar none. I'm from Moston north manchester and everyone was a red. The only fans cieh had was from moss side and a few other borough round south manchester. Which to me isn't real manchester anyway. Now it's just glory hunters who watch them lot. Of my group of friend growing up, out of the say 100 only 10 of us still live in Manchester. Soon to be 9.haha. So people move on. And yes the first comment was right. Real supporters have been priced out. Who wants to pay £4500 for a season ticket. They can stick it. I will always have a love for united until I die. But next season I recon I will have a Blackpool season ticket. And I will follow Blackpool with as much passion as I had for United. A good piss up banter and a great Saturday out.

Just off subject. Chatting to a few guys over here in the states who are now football scouts. Simalar age to me. Talking of the Manchester Blackpool link. Obviously my big uncle E. And Paul Stewart. What a fantastic player he was but sadly injury prone.

Only in an effort to attend a game at all 92 League clubs I went to Old Trafford last night too. My first visit.

It was a good deal at only £40 a ticket including food and a programme. Good value and possibly why there were not many empty seats for what was a poor contest which only United turned up. As a less popular fixture that would have surely been affordable to most.

Can’t tell where those around were from but the merch store had probably taken some money.

Question? Why after games at Old Trafford do they keep the away fans in for say 20mins and let the United fans out first? Answer because they have further to travel 😂
The old ones are the best. Again it's a complete falicy. It's not our fault we have the most fans in the world and other clubs are jealous. Mu muf mufc ok...

I was at a funeral wake at the Liverpool Hilton yesterday.
It was teeming with overseas fans including Hotel guests paying £190 a night!
Chatted to Jamie Carragher as we watched the game on the large screen.
I fell asleep after 20 minutes as the large consumption of alcohol kicked in!

Jesus christ. Never knew Blackpool hated United this much haha. Never seen Blackpool as any sort of rival or threat. I always thought a good affiliation between the 2 clubs. Oystens had his own box at old trafford.. Hahaha.

We've always disliked them, same as any other North West club.

I'd say United are still the most hated club in the country.

Yeah only because The Red army used to terrorise every town and city we travelled too. Biggest away army ever. That's why it was so hard for United to win the league, and to win the treble was unreal. No matter what anybody says in the 80/90s every player of every club no matter how proffesional would try that 10% extra at Old Trafford. When the fixture lists came out every other club used to look first when have they got United. This is 100% accurate. From 85 until 91 I never missing a single United game, home away and European. Even went to a club called videoton some obscure place in Hungry. Not many supporters of any club can hold that record. That took dedication. I couldn't do it now as the travelling would kill me. Used to say goto Southampton for a Wednesday night game. 7 hour trip home. Bed for 5am up at 7am for work. And plenty of other North Manchester lads did the same. One guy I know. His brother has a disability he is in a wheel chair. Him and his brother have not missed a 1 United game since 1987. And that's pushing a wheel chair around Europe aswell. Now that is total dedication. Anyone from the North side of Manchester will know who I'm talking about.

You’ll get nowhere with it mate. Every time Utd lose etc someone starts a thread about it. All other clubs get a free pass

It must be tough being a Man U fan these days? They’ve barely been anywhere close to City for a decade now and even the Scousers have out performed them and won more silverware?

It must feel like it did before Fergie arrived for those fans? They’ve spent a massive amount but it’s not working for them.

Don't understand it pal. But hey ho fuck it. Lol. Win or lose we are on the booze.
Blackpool are a great club and the supporters cracking but for some reason some on here not only “hate” them…..fair enough hating another club and enjoying em losing (we all have our detested clubs) but have to start a thread regularly as if it’s PNE…..every other club barely merits a mention.

Miles more anti Utd threads started than Nob End ones …..I don’t get it tbh but I’m UTMP regardless having lived here for 24 years and married to a Blackpool Lass

It’s only the owners to blame….worst run club in the League. Owners have spent plenty of dough (on transfers, not infrastructure, Academy or Ground I hasten to add) in spite of taking massive dividends and putting Club in huge debt but it’s been wasted as there’s no PLAN, no footballing intelligence, no coherent theme running through it all.

Folks here should be kissing Sadler’s feet 😁

It's just to wind you up mate you should know that by now, and it's envy of man u being the most successful premier league club

It doesn’t wind me up at all. I just don’t get it. If Utd lose or some such you are guaranteed a thread on here but for example Liverpool FC (a fine club) or City (a club charged with 100 plus financial irregularities but playing fantastic dominant football ) warrant nothing. More threads on here against Utd than Nob End or Bolton …..makes little sense to me but I’m used to it…..was just trying to explain to Mancpool

It's swings and roundabouts mate you know that as an educated lad. The Tommy Docherty and Ron Atkinson periods was brilliant. If we won everything every year it would get boring. Like Scottish football with either Celtic or Rangers winning everything. We seen it all, we have won the lot, we are man united and never going to stop. Sure I have heard that somewhere. Haha. Citeh play somme magical football. I hate to say, but atleast now the Premier league attracts the world's greatest. I cannot stand Harlaand but that lad is different gravy. He should be banned he is that good a centre forward. As for Liverpool fair play to them. They had one of the finest teams ever with Dalglish, sourness, Highway, Rush, even Barnes. It's all good and Citeh dominance won't last forever.

The problem is blood there's a lot of blackpool fans who have Liverpool as their second team so I can see the obsession .

Just at JFK waiting for my flight home. Been reading back a load of posts on here. It's not only United who cop for it. They slag their own club off continuously aswell. Wlf.. I bet half of these keyboard warriors hardly ever goto the games. You sound a loyal and as I would call it a proper fan. I enjoy reading your comments and posts.

You used to kiss Sams feet in Rowleys along with others. Are you homing in on Sadler now. Proper groupie.

I guess that some Blackpool fans say they hate Man U because of jealousy it’s a bit pathetic imo but then jealousy is pathetic. Or it could be similar to my dislike of Liverpool the reason being that when I was growing up Liverpool were winning everything and so many people in Blackpool said they supported them which still infuriates me to this day. Some of these people will now support Blackpool but still have a thing for LFC and therefore say they dislike Utd.
