What a miserable little man ...

I’ve paused it on YouTube when the header is played forward to Stockley and Stockley looked in line with Thorniley to me. Shit calls happen. We’ve been at the end of plenty.

As for the 2nd Penalty, unbelievably soft but there was contact. We’ve been too honest at the start of the season. I think Keshi or CJ stayed on their feet after being fouled in the opening game at Plymouth and ended up getting a tame shot off at the keeper. Jerry felt contact and went down. Type of stuff smart players do. About time we became a horrible bunch of shithouses instead of a soft touch

Their feet look in line but the angle of the forward compared to the angle of the defender who was square to the line might have meant the forward's upper body or leading arm was offside. Only the linesman knows for sure.

Was Bowyer at the same match that I was watching?
Hope his appeal gets turned down, and then he gets the sack.
Nice 'syrup' BTW. 😉

Does Bowyer think he is too good for league 1, doesn't know the name of a single Blackpool player that he comments on.
I'm pretty sure Critchley would be fully informed about the Charlton players.

I read their entire 44 page live match thread.
Most were very complimentary about our play.
Some comments towards the end about the (soft) pen, which is understandable. They initially thought the disallowed goal decision was correct, then on replay, thought it was onside. Tbh I only saw it from one angle and it looked off from that view. Most baffled by the 4 subs at once, especially as one was their best player in 1st half and Bowyer left his mate Pratley on, who looked like a red card was on all match. Their top scorer was also on the bench, which is frustrating.
Not much love for the manager and his boring style of anti-football. They knew he’d be getting his excuses in early. If we’d beaten them by 5-0 we might have done them a favour, because he might be out of the job.
Their fans seem a likeable down-to-earth bunch you could sympathise with their bad run.
