What are we looking for tomorrow?

After the summer of gloom, we definitely need something to cheer us all up and so what are we after from tomorrow’s performance?

I’d like much more ball retention, no switching off from set pieces, look as if we can take chances and score and have at least 50% possession .. and maybe an Erica Roe type streaker

More effort than the Leeds game, more quality on the ball against good opposition and a sign that the training ground hard work seems to be paying off under a new coach/manager (what do we call them now?)

We're putting out the same quad of players as we did last season (with further injuries), so there's no bedding in of new players, just putting new systems into practice.
I echo Tangyman's post and would also like to see an improvement from last season with our set pieces. I hope the same squad perform far better than they did against Derby, Posh & Leeds and we give Rangers the game that they're hoping will test their squad
