I’m not sold on Bloxham yet, he set the bar high with that wonder goal against Exeter last season but hasn’t been consistent since (2 goals). Last night he looked like an old bloke who’s just got out of bed in the morning so for me the jury’s still out. I do somewhat agree with your second point that he could be suffering from the Bruce effect.

I really thought he would be our Player of the season this year and can't work out if he's sulking after being dropped, we're not finding a natural position for him or maybe if he has failed to reach my expectations?

But your post suggests it’s more like he’s not fully fit and struggling physically .

Shrews fans said he was very inconsistent. This is what I've seen and I'm seeing. Also he's never been fit and with no disrespect, I don't think he'll ever be a 90 min player.

Have a feeling he might have been a Bruce led one. But I'd question recruitment full stop. And a lot more.

Bloxham clearly has talent. Obviously he was injured but Bruce stated a couple of weeks ago the squad were all fit. It’s a mystery but unfair to put this at Bruce’s door. Even if you argue that the fitness training isn’t up to scratch ( not saying that’s the case) where is his professionalism to keep himself fit? He was knackered after five minutes the other night. I don’t understand.

We just don’t know but we certainly haven’t seen that player who blew us away with his first few games for us .
