What the board needs to do...

If the board does decide to stand by Grayson (which I think they will, and probably then some) then they need to issue a statement explaining their decision. At the moment we're on a winless streak that could rival the one under Paul Ince/Barry Ferguson in the 2013-14 season, and the last thing we want is for the positive atmosphere that has surrounded the club for the last year now to descend into a new protest movement.

Totally agree. The 'board' seemed to have been quiet for a while now. I just wonder if they want to get to next Saturday in the hope that we get a win and don't have to make a decision!

It's interesting because, in a way, fixtures have really been unkind to Larry. Yes we had a poor Christmas with two defeats and the Reading game was a dog's dinner but this was Larry's 5th away League game on the trot and on paper Wycombe, Rotherham and Oxford away were never easy fixtures (and even Lincoln have an impressive home record), so do you base your decision entirely on that or do you wait and give him the benefit of the doubt, some home league games and a chance for this group of players to gel?

Four games at home in February - Southend, Gillingham, Bolton and Ipswich - anything less than two wins might not see Larry make March!

I think too many boards have given the dreaded ‘vote of confidence’ to managers only to regret their backing within days 🥴

You may well be right but we have to give Larry the chance to turn it around in some home games. It is league one so you can go from not being able to buy a goal to an unbeaten run in no time. I think the squad we have now is undoubtably stronger after the window.
