So we have 19 games left, we have been binned from all cup competitions and so we have 10 home games and 9 away games in which opinions on this season will be formed. I think most would agree we'll finish the season with a better squad than we started but I think, for most, it's the league position which will determine fans thoughts (and ultimately Grayson) on this season.
I heard someone say the other day if we can just finish above Fleetwood is would be a softener to what, thus far, has been a disappointing campaign but if we're reduced to that level then it's a sad indictment as to where we're up to.
For me, it has to be a Top 10 finish and we have to start performing and entertaining at home. We have to change our style of football and we have to start creating much more in the final third. I would happily watch a 4-3 against Peterborough (even if the score was reversed) rather than the turgid tripe that was served up against Accrington and Shrewsbury. Grayson has to go back to basics and look at what was working for us at the start of the season. He has to start playing some of his new players and dare I suggest resting the likes of Fonz, Feeney and Spearing who I think have made us a bit predictable.
So what would represent a good season for you in May to send us in to the summer with optimism for next season?
