According to the Daily Mash.

* Get Japanese-only imports on vinyl

* Exempted from hosepipe bans

* Diplomatic immunity

* Straight to the front of the queue for Stealth at Thorpe Park, even if you’ve literally just got off

* Complimentary meet-and-greet with Peter Andre

* Phone call from a lower-league footballer

* Drink-driving limit raised to three pints

* Can order cinemas to fast-forward credits of Marvel film straight to extra scene

* Own personal branch of Pret A Manger

* Choice of exclusive Professor Chris Whitty or Professor Jonathan Van-Tam skins on Fortnite

* Legal cannabis

* Joie de vivre and spring in step guaranteed

* Can order breakfast at McDonald’s right up until noon

* Secret September bank holiday

* Can choose one unvaccinated person within a 1.2 mile radius of their home address to be tarred and feathered and run out of town

* Massively reduced risk of contracting, getting hospitalised with or dying from covid

You can get into the Spurs v Arsenal friendly next week they have just announced.
Otherwise a negative test within 48hrs or no entry.

Drive in Lytham without knowing what roundabouts are for

Tut loudly if you try to walk past them in a supermarket aisle, even though they've been stood still, staring at the same product for 5 minutes

Have a pop at the beggar outside Tesco local

Narrowly miss running your dog over with their motorised chair.

Cough uncontrollably in your face, seemingly happy they don't need to wear a mask any more

Rant over, many thanks.

Edit, sorry Wizz I might have misinterpreted your post

In related news, the Mash has been dropped from the BBC for being 'too left wing', but has got a new series commissioned by Dave.

There is no truth that 20s and Scara are now in charge of comedy on the BBC.

Great thread Wiz. 😂 🤣

So they have announced today that, from Monday, if you have been doubled jabbed and tested negative those traveling from the EU or US will not have to self isolate for 10 days.
How does that square with the fact you can be doubled jabbed (and over 70% of adults now are) but if pinged by the NHS app you have to isolate for up to 10 days. Appy some consistency and common sense and require people to test and if they are negative do not require them to isolate.
That approach is reinforced by information on tests I received locally today. Before the infection rate dipped over the last week the number of positive tests was only 3% of those taken. Since the recent dip in infections the postive test rate has gone down to 2% of tests taken locally.

This inconsistency is why so many people have deleted the app or are non compliant to the request.

Sorry slight tangent.... I've heard talk of boosters - is it for over 50s and and annually i.e. like the flu inoculation?

Think it’s poor form to be joking if a fellow Pool
fan is in ICU on a ventilator and your wife’s nephew has been hospitalised as you point scored on the other thread.

They haven't been vaccinated. Not point scoring. Factual statement.

Nope, you deliberately did it to use your examples to make someone try and feel bad and guilty.

This 'pandemic' rapidly morphed into a mass game of virtue signalling

Being terrified of the virus and talking about how scary it is makes you a 'good guy'.

Not doing so makes you a 'bad guy'.

Same applies with the double jabbed.

No. You're speciously attributing motive to factual statements because it flies in the face of everything you've posted for 12 months or more.

I'm not terrified of the virus because I've taken sensible precautions and not taken advice from Facebook.

I don’t have Facebook 😊

I’m not attributing anything, you posted the scare stories to point score then on another thread your joking about double vaccinated benefits when on the other thread you’re playing the guilt trip but you’ve just said that the two people haven’t had their jabs.

You’re all over the place.

They weren't scare stories, they were actually people I know which contradicts the myths peddled by the anti vaxxers. One was admitted on the day he was due a jab, ironically, while the other didn't believe the severity. Again, how ironic.

As for a post from the Daily Mash....

But again that’s a myth, the anti-vaxxers tag. The point is, you can weigh up whether you want the vaccine or not, doesn’t mean you’re anti-vaccines, just means you don’t want it? It seems if you think to yourself, no I’m fit and healthy if I get it I’ll trust my immune system, or I’ve had the virus so got natural immunity etc you are immediately getting your views off Facebook or You Tube. Weird.

They might be real stories, hope they both get well soon, my point remains though. You can’t use these stories on one thread virtue signalling and guilt tripping, but on another thread be laughing and joking about the same thing.

For the third and final time, I'm not guilt tripping anyone. It's an individuals choice, as my wife's nephew demonstrates.

I've been double jabbed since Easter, because I'm better than most people, but never been afraid of the virus, which camp am I in?

Sounds pretty normal.

This past year has mad extremes on both sides. You’ve people who think Bill Gates is watching them go the Co-op for a loaf & then at the other end people who crave high numbers and drama and seem happy things are restricted and scared to do anything.

I just want people to be logical, normal, free, & healthy and not to be coerced into any nonsense, or unfairly discriminated against.

Hopefully this happens. Common sense is the way forward as most people are capable of looking after their own lives.

The nice homeless fella outside little Asda on Vicarage Lane does look a lot like Bill Gates now you mention it.

As long as admissions stay manageable I think we can crack on, we're just causing more harm otherwise.

I have just got the details of the arrangements for the Test match at Trent Bridge this week. Expected to be a full house. Those that have been doubled jabbed at least 14 days before attending do not need to do anything else. Others are advised to do a lateral flow test 48 hours before attending to make sure they are clear. They are also requesting people to wear masks and use the hand sanitisers around the concourses and moving around indoor areas. None of this is mandatory but is requested. All of it seems sensible and proportionate and no vaccine passports.

The Daleks are taking over the planet. Without a doubt.

What is in doubt is whether the double jabbed are collaborators or The Resistance?
