I quite like Maxwell to be fair to the lad some of the goals have been unstoppable and he’s made some cracking saves too. We’ve only lost by the odd goal I don’t think he’s been too bad at all. I think we can forgive Maxwell for the couple of mishandling errors on Saturday.
The conditions were a goalkeeper's worst nightmare.

Alwick's contract is up at the end of the season, and Rangers said that he could stay with us and we could manage his recovery.

I think Maxwell is decent enough - sometimes a bit slow to get the ball out but I'd say no better/worse than the majority of League One keepers.

Took me 5 minutes of maxwell making his debut to decide I would prefer him to Alnwick.

I think that's one of his strong points releasing the ball early and getting us on the front foot... happy with Alnwick or Maxwell though. Think they're both good keepers

Agree about that and with actual options down both sides it has worked well.

He's not a Knobber keeper. He's ours. And by all accounts he's done well.
