Where have you lived in Blackpool ?

Hi, that was on Saville Rd and across from that was Jim's newspaper shop where I used to rush to buy The Green at 6.00 on Saturdays.

In the early 80s as a kid, I lived in the semi adjoining Owen's father, who was knocking on a bit by then. Owen used to park his vintage Rolls outside when visiting, which was usually on a Saturday - I used to see it parked there as I left the house to go to the match (which Owen obviously didn't go to).
 
lived all over Fylde coast but settled in Thornton Cleveley moved to Malaga 2005. i knew the owners of redmarsh

My daughter was born in 1993, I think it was probably your mum and sister who were there then. I spoke to one of them now and again and am thinking it was probably your sister then as she was probably too young to be your mum. She was lovely 😊

Although only 25 + years ago it seemed a different era, one where neighbours still turned up with things they’d baked for you ( Betty) and people really looked out for each other.

Started on Lark Close and lived there up to the age of 19 and have never lived in Blackpool since.

I also used to live down Ivy Avenue from 1963 to 1975.
Then Fish Net chippy on Waterloo Road (opposite Richard's hairdressers)

I've never made any secret of the that I was born in that neck of the woods. There use to be a convent on South Parade where the Nuns at Cardinal Allen lived. A right nasty bunch of penguins!
You seem to had been on manouvers a few time? 😊

A mixture to be honest. Puerto de Mogán is lovely and quiet if I remember rightly.

I lived in Playa del Inglés, Arguineguin, Puerto Rico and Tauro. Tauro was my favourite as it was on the golf course and the villa was amazing!

Yes tauro okay very close to Mogan ,Porto Rico ,that bloody hill😀,had friend who owns bar in Mogan at rear of resort ,next to hippodino ,from arguineguin ,went once ,can't say I was impressed up the mighty .👍.

Pretty impressive that.Raikes Parade was so close to the original stadium and Lincoln Road was the site of the Seasiders second home,the Athletics Ground.
Just a pity you didnt have a rummage in the cellar or under the floors as you might have found old BASIL membership cards that the builders might have dropped. Its safe to say they are an extremely rare item.

Fairly settled now Giro - let’s just say affairs of the heart might have had something to do with me moving around!
 
Haig Rd, Dunelt Rd, Westby Ave, Rosebery Ave, (all South Shore), Victoria Rd East, Stockdove Way (both Thornton Cleveleys), Dorchester Rd (North Shore) prior to moving to New Zealand. Left England December 1963 and arrived in New Zealand January 1964 having my 21st in December on board the Southern Cross.
