Which football club would you liken Blackpool to?

Holloway was correct when he first arrived at the club. A lot of our fans have this small time mentality. I think it's partly down to being in the bottom divisions for such long periods and partly down to the tin-pot nature in which the club was run under the Oystons.

I believe Simon Sadler's vision is to help Blackpool realise its true potential. If he gets this right then I think things could really snowball. There is a large potential catchment area within Blackpool, Wyre and Fylde. We now have an owner with the drive and ambition to tap into that potential.
Hence Haythornthwaite's increasingly bitter comments. He knows his catchment area is disappearing.

Have always felt we’ve had similarities with Derby to be honest - bar the fact our season in the Prem was more successful!! They are certainly a club which I feel we can aspire to be like.

Just watching Swansea today - there’s a lot of similarities between the two and that’s where I think we should be occasionally knocking on the door of the Championship Play Offs.

BHA.

I've always thought both clubs being seaside clubs had the potential to use that for revenue gains. Bournemouth were a 'little' club back then.

That's even though BHA are a County team.

We’ve a big post WW2 history but serious decline started in the 70’s - lots of internationals, 1st Balon D’Or Winner in Matthews, World Cup Winner in Ball, ....

In modern times Barnsley is a good shout - 1 prem season etc
