Tangerine is a deeper shade, the fruit is right.

Generally speaking, tangerine is slightly lighter than orange but many varieties of both colours exist such that this doesn't always hold true.

the colour tangerine is a tone of orange.

Oranges ( the fruit) are actually tangerine and tangerines (the fruit) are actually orange, so the above photo's are correct

We do this every year. We don't know the truth and we don't need paint clour codes for proof. However, when you look at the Luton kit it's a flat orange, as is Rangers away kit. Us and Dundee Utd are a vivid orange which we both call tangerine. That does it for me.

Tangerine to me has always been a lighter shade but that's why the club can't win with their kits isn't it. Nobody can agree and nobody knows which is which.
