OK, so we have to decide in the next couple of days which player we would like AVFTT to sponsor. We have first dibs on the Viking and Dougall. Please vote in the poll if donated.
Looks like we will only be able to sponsor one player this year but still a great effort.
Please donate to the fund or bid on the Viking shirt if not already done so.
I realise money is tight at the mo so all monies received are much appreciated.
Cheers

Kenny D has a very high profile and should have no trouble finding a sponsor. The Viking has been unlucky with injury but that's because he puts his body on the line. For that reason it's Daniel G for me.

In these troubled times, i think it's wrong to ask fans to sponsor players.
My wife and i are finding it a real struggle to maintain a decent standard of living with only 4 pensions a month to live off. 🙂

Bloody Hell Gareth,
I really do think if BST/AVFTT directed more of their energies helping Organised Charity Events to enable The Armfield Support Group support Mental Health Awareness On The Fylde Coast, it may be a lot more rewarding for both the organisations.
So far as The Charity Cycle Ride Goes:
AVFTT have been unable to establish a “Sticky” for Donations.
And BST (with the exception off Andy & Pauline) have been quiet too.
The “AMAZING” choice of Charity was fronted by a BST Committee Member.
So “Come On” PLEASE HIVE MORE SUPPORT TO The Cycle Run you have the databases to pull in the donations, I’m MERELY A “One Man Band”!!
Ashley❤️

Im no longer on the BST committee. I have been a one man band for well over 2 years. The AVFTT board democratically voted which charities to support.

Here's the link to the post with the democratic poll just for transparency:

GJ,

no need for you to justify anything here pal. Everyone can see your good intentions. I’ve just donated for a second time in support. And because I can.

Surprisingly @Torycorner - the world does not revolve around you and the Armfield group. The problem with Blackpool FC, magnified in the past few years, is that there are so many different groups who feature wannabe rulers and don’t accept anything or anyone else, that as much as we are United behind Sadler, we remain divided as a fan base .. and your post highlights it.

Personally I’ll probably never use the Armfield but I use AVFTT daily and so massive thanks to @GJJW for giving me something to back and support. ToryCorner’s post stinks of someone who wants everything going his way and will stamp his feet when it doesn’t. Poor do.

Yeah 4 Greek pensions must be about 10 bob a week.😜

It's a pleasure pal.
Hope we raise a decent total.
Cheers

Conclusive proof, internet devices should have breathalysers.

.. and if anyone wants a lesson in how to shoot your self in the foot and lose all support I think Ashley has just demonstrated it.

Well done Gareth for brilliant work with the shirts where it was about the cause and not about you!
Cheers pal, but Ashley's is a worthy cause also so don't want a couple of silly posts to distract from that.

The Charity WE are raising funds for is not “My Charity” it’s “BLACKPOOL‘S COMMUNITY”.

I really don’t care what any AVFTT WUM posts on here…..never have!!
I’ll keep to my motto of “Actions NOT Words” you keep playing with your keyboards.
If you are proud of yourselves trying to discredit a fundraising effort for a worthy cause then “crack on”🙄🙄

King Kenny for me - I dreamt not long after the Play Offs that we went on a golfing holiday together 🙄
Great work @GJJW again .. and massive well done to the AVFTT community for our continual support of the club!

Because he's a prick and always will be but some love the guy.
Perhaps because I get of my backside and achieve things for the good of others.
You spend all your time “playing” at your computer “trying” and “failing miserably” to be clever.
Keep Dreaming Mushroom🙄🙄

You are a grown man from what I remember the last time I saw you, so act your age and not your shoe size.

Just grow up.

Although there are WUM on AVFTT, it feels itself a community as much as a forum.
Gareth should be applauded for building ties between us and BFC with money also going to local charities
None of that detracts from your sterling efforts to raise money for worthy causes.

Much appreciated mate.
Let's hope we raise enough to sponsor both players.

With the greatest respect for your good cause, I reckon if you were cycling further than the next town over it might be something more of a spectacle. Here in Holland your sponsored ride would be considered a daily commute!

The first pictures of the bike ride and they might have gone for a different approach!
