Who are our creative players?

Just wondering who are going to create the chances for proven finishers like Shayne and Rhodes to finish?

I’d say the following in the correct formation have shown they can create chances in previous seasons or teams:

Dale, Carey, Weir, Lyons, Gabriel, Morgan, Dembele, potentially Apter,
even potentially CJ (his passes to Josh in that little purple patch two years ago)

Any others?

From what I've seen in last two games we could park the team coach outside hobbycraft and they'd all come out with a blank piece of paper .

There's degrees of creativity. Even Dougall has his moments of producing good assists. Hubby even! Weir should grow into the role. We seem to have a lot of nearly players. Morgan, Carey, Dale etc. Maybe time and gelling will imprive creativity. Weve had chances but missed them too.

Morgan potentially and Weir potentially and then ok Lyons and Gabriel as much as full backs can create but we've not seen enough of the first 2 to judge them really. Apart from that I can't really say any of the others cos they've been here ages and have consistently failed to do it. For me I'd be wanting to move on the likes of Carey, Dale, CJ, Virtue, Dougall. You can't be successful if you keep giving chances to the same players who consistently let you down.

Morgan is more of a play maker from deep, he isn't going to dribble past people

And Weir is a box to box midfield player and an upgrade on Virtue who plays similar

The facts are we dont have any creative players who can create a chance out of nothing

Not a single one
I think Weir probably can.

Carey has never shown anywhere near enough to be included on that list. Gabriel has pace and strength and gets up and down but generally his crossing is poor. Not sure I’d include Lyons. Don’t really know or haven’t seen enough of the rest

Dale is useless, Carey has not fulfilled his potential, as it stands probably Weir is the only one, but it's not confirmed yet. We have a load of bang average players with no creativity and that is a problem. There is no one in the squad who you think "I can't wait to see him play in the next game" no ones, it's turned into a grey/beige club where entertainment has been shown the door for computer programs and a dull owner and manager.

Didn’t Morgan have a really good assist record at Charlton? Wonder where they played him to get that?

If you’re right and it’s from a deep position then he could be used more alongside Norburn if we moved Norburn forward ten yards?

Or play 2 sitting with Weir in front in a 4231

We are negating our ability to play creatively as we play too deep to accommodate “Critchball possession”.

It’s all too predictable and slow.

Push up the girls as a unit and look to play the ball forward. I bet we would be pleasantly surprised by the impact.
