Who else tested positive on here and what symptoms?

Good to hear Rusty. I had to take my partner to hospital this morning after her oxygen levels dropped too low -111 were wanting to send an ambulance. She’s back home now after tests and some oxygen, has pleurisy but no lung infection. Hospital said she’s safer at home. My symptoms are still the same - really ready for things to start improving now!
Hope you are both on the mend this morning.
Just as a matter of interest how did you know your partner's oxygen levels were too low?

Morning - she’s not quite as bad as yesterday, I’m slightly better today too. We’ve got an oxymeter that you put on a finger that’s fairly accurate , her oxygen levels dropped down to 88/89 which isn’t great. Hospital told us that if it drops again we’re to ring 999 and an ambulance would come with oxygen.
For a couple in our mid 40’s and usually active and healthy people, it’s hard to comprehend at times.

Good to hear you've both improved a bit. Let's hope it continues 👍

Jeez JBPS that's horrendous. One of my friends brothers has it and got pleurisy and he's in ICU, I hope all starts to calm down for you and keep a close eye on her. rusty, you seem to have had very similar symptoms to what I had, I lost my sense of taste and smell for about 4 days and then food and drink tasted horrible for a couple of days. It's the tiredness, it's weird but it could be a lot worse so let's hope you are on the mend. How are the rest of you who have it? Keep us updated if you can.

Pleurisy can be frightening because it can cause chest pain near the heart. If in doubt, err on the safe side and always get a doctor's opinion. Costochondritis is another similar problem caused by Covid. Both can last for months. For breathing exercises, this is a good site -

My wife has suffered from Costochondritis for last 15 years or so, and I wouldnt wish it on anyone.
Its restricted her from leading a normal lifestyle and is one of the "invisible" disabilities, so no one realises the pain she goes through on a daily basis.
So we are strictly adhering to the restriction rules, coz if she gets Covid, I would fear the worst.
