Who has knocked on the first team door?

No doubt Robson will have done his chances of a first team return no harm with that performance last night - I really like him and if he just found another 20% in his performances think he could be our stand out player. I think Kemp could be a real star and really catches the eye.

Those were my main two - anyone else who stood out who you think would be a first team candidate. Exciting times when we look at the squad improving as it is.

I think we saw why Lubala was bought on last night's showing. That's the first time I've seen him go past people and put a decent ball in. Gabriel continued to show why he should be right back. I'd agree with Robson. He'd be in my First XI (and Brett's apparently). I know what you're saying about Kemp, but I wonder if he's a little too slight for League One. That would be my only concern.

Garbutt - without even playing. I just hope he ends up coming in ahead of Husband.

Lubs looked like a different player last night.

Yates, Robson and Husband are already first teamers. I feel that game was just to give Robson 90 minutes after his suspension and Husband will most likely be replaced by Garbutt once he's over his injury.

Lubala hasn't impressed when we've seen him thus far, hopefully last night was the beginning of some form. His cross was absolutely beautiful.

Kemp looks a decent footballer. I was always surprised that he was never getting any game time considering he was one of our premier league loanees.

Ultimately with some decent performances from players that are usually on our bench, it should give Critchley some headaches in squad selection. Strength in depth, lovely stuff.
