Who should be up top?

If you were to play a 4-4-2 or a 4-5-1 - who'd be up top?

As it stands I'd play two but not really fussed which two unless the opposition are known for their physicality in which case Madine has to be one of them. So i've not voted.

If it’s a 1 we need mobility, but the key is the player in behind- think Carey behind Yates at Reading.

If it’s a 2, Madine with either Yates or Lavery.

Madine and Lavery. Yates and Lavery will win no doubt but can’t see that working myself. I know its a bit sacrilege but Yates has been too anonymous to often for me.

Yates and Lavery for me, when Yates was partnered with Doyle at Swindon they were a force to be reckoned with. I think Jerry plays better with gingers

Whether you play 1 up or 2, strikers need to be mobile. We saw that with Simms and Yates, and for a brief time, Yates and Lavery.

I’d play Madine and Lavery. Then sub Lavery for Yates on the hour.
Next match Madine and Yates. Sub Yates for Lavery on the hour.
Simples. No need to overthink it or change for the opposition- let them worry about us!

Interesting Yates and Lavery is receiving the most votes and yet, if we're honest, has this ever worked as a combo or for that matter yielded any goals?!
