Only ten voters so far but we have 8 players with 80% or more and the rest on 40% or less. No forwards in the 8.

Grimshaw
Gabriel
Pennington
Casey
Lyons
Morgan
Apter
Joseph

Most speak for themselves, I do think there is a player with Joseph, he grabbed a few assists but I feel a couple of early goals & get his confidence up next season and he could spark into life.

Then again, I thought that about Lavery this season after his pre season/opening brace against Burton.

When picking the names the first thing that came to me was that we need experience and quality.
Corry Evans has just been release by Sunderland, he's getting on a bit now but would be the sort of player that would boost our MF and has bags of experience.

Yeah good shout. We need to sort the midfield out with someone who’s been there and done that and takes the younger players up a notch.

Bridcutt almost was missing piece of the puzzle, but was just done physically by the time we got him…

Bridcut £4k + a week he only played 90 minutes all together, the club let Colby Bishop go,because he wanted £4k a week, allegedly club offered £3.800,he didn’t sign, club blamed it on medical reasons, but yet he signed for pompy the same day.Went onto score 20+ goals.Work it out yourselves.

Byers would have been a great permanent addition to the midfield, really found his stride last 6 games. As Graves says in his early reply, we need experience and especially in that position. Obviously we have Norburn but I'm still unconvinced by him - he had more time and made a lesser impression than Byers, that is my concern. And Byers brought so much more out of Carey too.

We definitely also need more experience/goals up front, a la Rhodes. That ever elusive potential 20 goal front man that I am not convinced Beesley or Joseph can be. I sincerely hope one of them proves me wrong - you see glimpses of it in both of them. I would love us to add an experienced forward ready to have their Indian summer - that would be perfect.

Like almost everyone else I am really hoping Apter gets a shot this season and can take the next step up. If he can it'll be exciting to watch!

Only five with 80+ now. Grimmy, Pennington, Gabriel, Casey and Apter.

Morgan and Carey in the 70s, Lyons 66% and Joseph 50%.

Bees 30%, Norbs and CJ both 22%.

For me, there's no spine. Marv - Dougall/Byers - Rhodes.

Casey - Norburn - Beesley is a clear downgrade on that for me. We'll sign people of course, but it's going to depend a lot on the loan quality. We need to bring in some character, as well as some flair.

Watching Bolton over the two legs, they don't have better quality than we've had this season, but they have more physicality, and better attacking subs.

But I've seen a bit of Ipswich over the last two seasons and they are not a physical side, they just move the ball really well, with high energy. Zippier than us, and play with more freedom.

Lyons is academic as he will not be fit for at least another 9 months. ACL's take at least that time if all goes well!

The middle section of that vote causes me massive concern - Joseph, Moore, Lyons, Finnigan, Hamilton and Norburn.
Six players who I have concerns about for various reasons!

I've gone with: Grimshaw, Gabriel, Pennington, Casey, Joseph, Hamilton, Carey, Morgan and Apter

That's quite a strong XI but needs a strong leader in midfield and a goalscorer but I don't actually think that's a bad side.

Starters: Grimshaw, Pennington, Carey, Morgan, Apter
Bench: Gabriel, Casey, Joseph, Hamilton, Norburn, Beesley
Changing Rom: Lyons, Kouassi
Who knows: Finnigan, Moore

For me, we have 5 starters and a pretty decent bench but the fact we had 4 loan players who waltzed in to the side and have 2 permanents who have now left show we need at least 6 to come in to take first team shirts - and Hubby would be on the bench for me.

Grimshaw Carey Morgan and Apter are players we can build the club around. Obviously we need more but the entire point of Critchley coming back after running away initially is to develop raw young players

I forgot to say Casey in that group. That’s a good spine with bags of potential if they are given freedom to play . DESPERATE for a good striker or two, none of the current strikers are anywhere near good enough
