Who would be guaranteed starters from the 8 out?

So, who do you think out of this lot would be regarded as shoe ins for the first XI:

Ward
Luballa
Anderson
Gretarrson
Garbutt
Madine
CJ
Robson

I would say Ward, Madine & CJ, Gretarrson must be considered but we have 4 really good centre halves and Ekpetita is first name on the sheet.

Then Garbutt & Anderson with Luballa as one for the future and Robson who is unlikely to make the bench again.

I would prefer Garbutt to Husband but that's just my personal choice. I like Mitchell too but I think he adds to our attacking wide play.

Gretarrson is good enough to be first choice but then so is Ballard and now Thorniley so he will get used in rotation I reckon.

Who would be replaced then?

Husband, Virtue, Simms, Kaikai?
 
I think more so than ever with the amount of games crammed in it’s a Squad game.

It's a good point about it being a squad game
I'd say only CJ and Madine are automatic shoe in's
I'd also play Garbutt in my best 11
 
I think thoughts about playing Garbutt regularly are wishful thinking sadly.
 
CJ & Madine, Garbutt if he’s fully fit but that’s a big if

Keshi, Gret and Ward could easily sneak back in though
 
Gretarsson shoe in for sure, our best left sided central defender.

CJ also a shoe in.

The rest are more rotational I think.
 
I don't think any are guaranteed and I don't think they should be! Everyone has a part to play and different oppositions require different players with different abilities to best them!
