Will Game go ahead?

Wondering what will happen in regards to sports in relation to the death of Prince Phillip

obviously living in a different country not part of the UK (im in the Republic) I genuinely don’t know does sport go ahead or be postponed due to such a death
Might be a ridiculous question

I think they'll have a minutes silence at all games, did sport get called off when queen Elizabeth, the queen mother died in 2002?

Why would they postpone a game? I like Prince Philip but he was 99, lived a privileged life and died at home surrounded by his family and loved ones. Thousands have died alone in a hospital bed with no family.

The BBC have stopped all music etc and all channels are talking about it. Fine, but surely there should be some perspective?

He was a bit of a lad in his day and has had a fantastic innings, the Queen will have a huge gap in her life now too. RIP

You can always watch The Crown on Netflix

Just had a poignant two-minute silence and a knee bend before Watford v Reading so guess that's what's planned.

I think the last time the two minutes happened was when Princess Diana died. I definitely remember it before the 4-3 turnaround at Wrexham. Was going well until someone made a sheep noise halfway through.

I have, Love it but a lot of poetic licence. I have to say I didn't enjoy the last series so much as I couldn't stand Dianna as I always thought she was a simpering wreck and I really never got the mass hysteria of grief her death had on the nation.

One and all. A short while ago on the Politics forum I posted in support of abolishing the Monarchy. That is my intellectual position. On an emotional note I think this man did well to come into our ruling family, take the brickbats and persevere. I think it's reasonable to see a good man at the centre of world politics and say, well done Sir, RIP.
