‘Old winger’ is that somebody who has played for us previously? For MA previously? Or old as in age? Hate these stupid clues, if you’ve got something to share then just say it man!!

Blackpool boss Michael Appleton wants to sign old favourite Morgan Rogers from Manchester City.

The pair worked together when Appleton was manager at Lincoln and left winger Rogers on loan in their League One campaign together.

Rogers may be keen to play for Appleton again at Chanpionship level and the clubs are working on a loan or even a bargain buy.

Blackpool are currently busy in the market with moves for forward Theo Corbeanu and midfield general Cameron Brannagan, a long term target at Oxford.

Would be great if its a buy. We don't want too many loan players in the attacking positions if our model is to develop young players and sell on for a big profit.

Maybe that might explain why it's taken so long to announce, because we're trying to negotiate a permanent? 🤔 His contract is up in 2024 so it would require a big fee... but if we managed to pull it off that'd be the signing of the Summer.

I think Brannagan would be the signing of the summer, we’ve been horribly light in middle of midfield for a while now.

I can’t remember who the last centre mid was we had who’d have the ability to pick up the ball and drive the team forward, maybe Adam?!

Brannagan will fit like a glove into our midfield, it will be the signing of Sadlers reign so far
 
And the Wolves lad in on loan so we can all continue to moan at someone for taking on one too many. Watched some highlights of him last night and he looks pretty Bowlerish in play style. He's gonna drive us bananas. Can't wait!
