England throwing this away.

180 needed.

103/6. Mind you, could have been worse. Absolutely plumb lbw. Took an age to ask for a review, that long she was luckily out of time, so no review lost.

Just got to last the last 5/6 overs as out wetting a line.

Yep too close for comfort in the end Bangladesh played out of they’re skins but in the end we did it with 4 overs to spare.

Looks like the rain might just have saved us today with a bit of luck England currently 79/7 v Pakistan some calamity batting from England.

Australia v England just got underway Aussies won the toss and elected to field could this be a rerun of the final as both already qualified.

England 23/0 after 3 overs.

10 overs to go England 168/6.

Really need to move on here and try to get to 250 but the Aussie spin bowling has been incredible so far Alana King has just bowled out with figures of 10 overs for just 20 runs and the important wicket of Scriver-Brunt.

So then Australia require 245 to win a walk in the park normally for the Aussies you would think unless our bowlers excel themselves here and take early wickets.

Walk in the park for the Aussies they are in a different class than everyone else in this tournament they won with just short of 10 overs to spare.

Might as well hand them the trophy now. 🏆

At least we seem to have steadied the ship we were 1/3 at one stage now 90/3.

Still a bloody long way to go to get to 320.

It's a game that could have gone either way at the start. Both teams are miles from Australia.

For those that care...I thought England would have benefited from an extra seamer. Sciver-Brunt is a quality batter but too loose to be sure of 10 overs and definitely not an opening bowler, even in India.

They could have replaced Dunkley with that bowler and moved Capsey up. She's batted OK in the tournament. Dean could bat one place higher too.

Playing Lamb at 5/6 was crazy. Wyatt-Hodge looked so much more fluent on the one time she got a knock. Not a dig at Lamb either. She's opened for every other side she's played for.

I think winning the toss and electing to field was a big mistake by Shriver-Brunt.

Wolvarrdt the South African Captain was asked by Nasser Hussain after the toss what she would have done and she said she would have definitely batted first on this wicket.

South Africa then went on to knock 319 and the skipper scored a career best of 169.

Completely agree about the Aussies being miles ahead than anyone else but they can’t keep on winning all the time.

Well well that was a great match to watch.

Australia hit the biggest ever target of 339 in woman's cricket yet India manage to chase it down with 1.3 overs to spare.

Said only yesterday Australia just can’t keep winning.

So then a South Africa v India final who would have predicted that?

So then despite losing 3 of they're qualifying games India go on and lift the World Cup trophy for the first time so well done India goes show the underdogs are always within a shout of glory whatever the sport.
