Would losing Gnanduillet kill our season?

Just looking at what we have in the squad now, and we're yet to see what Madine can do (and are ever hopeful there is a player in Nuttall), would losing Gnanduillet now ruin our season? If Madine can do what the Frenchman can do, would it be easier if Gnando was to go and we were to get some money for him, rather than see him go for nothing at the end of the season. Do we play one dimensional football when he's in the side and could the new players we've brought in along with Madine cope without him?

Am only asking all these questions, I would prefer to keep him, because I can't help feeling there is an engineered departure coming up!

I think this perception that we are one-dimensional is a myth. When Kaikai and Delfouneso play we have a number of ways of getting the ball forward, especially if we have Feeney and Bola/McDonald on either flank.

What we have been lacking is a creative, box to box midfielder (think Brad Potts, but with a better footballing brain), to supplement the holding players who can rotate the ball in the middle but lack penetration.

I'll be disappointed if AG goes. He has fifteen goals this season ; you are taking a lot on trust with Madine if you let him go.

I love Gnando but no player is bigger than the club. Madine has a much better pedigree than Armand so it wouldn’t be the end of the world at all
