Would you risk a 75% fit player

We clearly need something and we keep hearing that a number of players are back on grass and training - just for the boost it would give the squad and the opportunity to give some other players bench time, would you risk them at this point?

We certainly don’t rush them back do we. Madine was back on the training pitch months ago yet still isnt back.

The worry is aggravating the injuries I imagine.

The second they are okayed by the physio and such they need to be getting a half of football asap.

If we don't we won't be in the playoffs and I think it will be a much tougher division to get out of next year. We're almost there so be brave and seize the moment !

Too many unknown variables for a fan to make that judgement, imo.
Is the risk/reward ratio better if we bring them in now to try to secure a play off place, or is it better to try for a play off place without them but know they’ll be there for the critical 3 games.
Only Critch, his team and the players know the details, we can only trust them.
There’s things we can do with the fit players we’ve got to make the play offs.

It’s not for us to say when players should return, however, the amount of money SS has invested in physio’s, fitness coaches, etc, etc seems to be totally wasted. In my many years of watching football, I have never known injuries, all injuries, take such an inordinate time to heal. Madine for instance was out initially with a “ niggle” in his groin 2.5 months later no nearer to a return, what is , or isn’t, going on in the treatment room?

Yep. Carpe Diem and all that.
Only a few games left in the season so why not if the physio approves it
As for Madine, as posted already I think there's more to it than an injury I'm afraid

I'd be more inclined to play a 75%er IF I knew he wasn't going to be here next season.
Unless there was anything written into a current contract that would mean the guarantee of retention or a new offer that would rather be avoided now.

You mean like with Feeney?
Yes. That option wasn't taken up out of loyalty was it. It looks like there's been a lot of reactive structural changes around the football side in the last twelve months to gain control of excess spend, which is a good thing.

I'd bring any absent players back into it asap as soon as there's nothing at all stopping any of them from at least being able to do a warm up and make the bench. Seem to be clear of restrictions to organise midweek training ground games to catch up on fitness work now.

100% agree! Bring back Phil Horner!

heard a rumour that if Madine plays another game it triggers clause in contract for extension for another year.
personally i think its a load of spherical shaped objects hanging down in a sack 🏈🏈

20 in league incl 15 starts
5 in cup

If he is on any sort of appearance target then he's got three more after his injury comeback before he hits 50% in the league.

Bez's season halted after 20 in all comps.

I suppose the answer is that a player can play at 75% with 'Certain' injuries.
Some other injuries have to be 100% fit.
So there's no real answer to the O/P.
