WTF is happening?

I’m waiting on Gilead as in the handmaidens tale.
Though I did notice Gilead are on the rise with their pharma business

She's every right to protest but to knowingly put her kid in the firing line is a disgrace.

Just to give some balance to the very biased OP, here is the full (unedited) video and I personally question why you take your young son on a protest and then use him as a shield against your arrest!!!

That third video is from April 2018 and was uncovered by CNN. It was from the Sinclair news corp which owns dozens of local news stations across America. It is also a supporter of the Trump administration and an organisation who the President has publicly praised.
The first two videos on the face of it, can elicit an emotional response because of the child/ apparent police harassment. I'm not convinced it's part of some nefarious NWO/ deep state conspiracy or an attempt by aliens to subjugate all human life and turn us into pod people etc more about over aggressive policing, although without context it's difficult to judge

I don't understand why people are protesting the lockdown. Is it really so hard to sacrifice going out for a few weeks to ensure that you don't catch, or pass on a virus?

If you break the law while you’re protesting you are likely to be arrested, and justifiably so. Breaking lock down laws to protest ( even against lockdown ) is breaking the law. If you have a child with you when arrested, the child will be separated from you. The child wasn’t in her arms when she was arrested. She hasn’t a leg to stand on. Tough shit.

Not sure on Australian law but protesting is not against the law in this country whether we are in lockdown or not there is nothing in legislation that gives police the powers to do what they did.

I’m no legal eagle, perhaps you’re right mate, but if it’s not illegal (at the moment) to break social distancing rules in this country, how come people have been getting fined or even arrested for it? Genuine question?

And I know it’s not against the law to protest here, but breaking the law whilst doing so is.

The Coronavirus Regulations are not primary legislation they are subordinate legislation which is how they managed to pass the act without going through parliament. The regulations exceed those of the Public Health Act 1984 from which they take their powers.Anybody arrested for being on the streets is an unlawful act and any fixed penalty notices issued are for breaching government guidelines which is not law.The only law I can see that could possibly be enforceable would be around large gatherings which is covered in the Coronavirus Act 2020 which is primary legislation.Id suggest to anybody that has been issued fixed penalty notices not to pay them as they are unlawful and void.Anybody arrested and I would be filing a formal complaint against the police.
