WTF is wrong with Barton

Bristol Rovers manager Joey Barton has been charged with assault by beating after a woman suffered a head injury.

Barton, a former Premier League footballer, is due to appear at Wimbledon Magistrates' Court on Monday.

The charge relates to an incident which took place at a residential property in Kew on Wednesday 2 June
 
I just googled "Joey Barton charged with assault" and got 7,200,000 hits.

Looks like it was his wife this time. They've only been married for two years. She must be as daft as him.
 
His anger issues will come to a head, even if that's in his profession or in the courts.

As an owner would you hire him? It may be his final job at Bristol.
 
Trouble has followed throughout his career. I actually do not expect players/managers to be saints. But this guy should not have made a living in the game. Yes this is strong for me, I hate him.
 
A very emotive subject folks, but just a quick health warning on this thread folks. Be careful what you write, he’s been charged but you need to let the CPS and the courts do their jobs and reach a guilty verdict before you say what you really want to.

Only if he is guilty of course but the gist of the post is correct .

Don't jump to conclusions. Barton deserves a fair hearing just like anyone else.

Married for two years, but been together for eight years prior to their wedding. And they have two kids.

She's even praised him as a dad on social media, since the alleged incident.

His kids are 9 and 7 years old. And sadly old enough to know all about whats going on too.
