I'll watch all England's games and those in our group. Then pick and choose the better games in other groups. Once England go out (I have little optimism about 'football coming home' this summer) I will probably watch less but will definitely watch the final, unless that is, it is between Wales and Scotland. 😁

With the group games kicking off at 8pm, 11pm and 2am (my time), I shall be picking and choosing.....will try and make the 2.00am England games but other than those, not much interest in killing myself for Italy v Turkey for example.

Watching the home games: Wales & Scotland trying their best and (hopefully) getting to the last 16. England fans expecting nothing but a championship win, followed by an angst-filled review of why they didn't...again.

Am looking forward to watching Wales and Scotland in a major tournament - I can't get excited for England these days, feel very removed from it all. Am a football fan and so obviously will be watching as many games as I can but actually the whole tournament feels a bit of a damp squib. Maybe Covid related, maybe the fact it's a year late, maybe to do with I'm still buzzing about Blackpool?

I’ll probably watch most of the games but with emphasis on England of course. Can’t be arsed with faffing booking at the pub & finding we can hardly see from our table. So it’ll be at home with a few people, when England are in action.

If England win Group D...

Tuesday, June 29 - vs Group F runners-up (Portugal, France, Germany, Hungary); kick-off 5pm (London)

If England finish second in Group D...

Monday, June 28 - vs Group E runners-up (Spain, Sweden, Poland, Slovakia); kick-off 5pm (Copenhagen)

If England finish as one of four best third-place teams...

One of:

Sunday, June 27 - vs Group C winners (Netherlands, Ukraine, Austria, North Macedonia); kick-off 5pm (Budapest)

Sunday, June 27 - vs Group B winners (Denmark, Finland, Belgium and Russia); kick-off 8pm (Seville)

Tuesday, June 29: vs Group E winners (Spain, Sweden, Poland, Slovakia); kick-off 8pm (Glasgow)

If England win the group I think we will go out in next round.

If we qualify without winning we may go all the way, but my money is on France.

The group games tend to lack excitement, so just England and the Germany/France /Portugal "group of death".

Every match after that.

Potentially an excellent game tonight, Italy a good attacking side now, and Turkey as the dark horses with some very good players.

Whilst football continues to make political statements it becomes unwatchable. Have actually saved a fortune since the knee nonsense started with no sky sports or any kind of football purchases. There’s actually a life to be had instead of watching egotistical pansies chasing a ball on a patch of grass!

When didn't it make political statements?

You must have really been interested in football if players kneeling down for 5 seconds before the game has ruined the whole experience.

You've certainly done your research One. As you say, winning the group means a tie against the runners-up in the group of death. Then again, who tries to support a team to come third!?

Have so far missed about 5 games - getting to that point when the missus starts looking up divorce lawyers on line 😁

Completely emphathise with this. A combination of knee taking and VAR has put me right off.
And yes I was really interested in it before, just hate what it’s trying to become

I think most England fans just want to see performances that indicate that the players have met each other before with a bit of attacking flair thrown in.
I haven't heard one English person say they expect to win the tournament and will be disappointed with anything less than that.

I think this is utterly pathetic, to be honest. What's wrong with you?

Every country is a political entity. That is not the point. The point is to enjoy the football (I agree your VAR point) and hope that your team wins. Politics will always be in sport whilst it's a competition between nations.

Nothing wrong with me pal, I’m allowed a view. I don’t want to go to a sporting event, and before a ball has been kicked I’m having someone else’s political agenda rammed down my throat. Does it happen at the cinema, the supermarket, a music gig? Course not.

I`m at Wembley for each England game......would prob get tix if we end up away for last 16 and Quarters .but presumably not allowed to travel,
If we were allowed to travel then prob have to self isolate upon return and miss next game.
Who knows???
