Think I'd pretty much stick with what we had last weekend. The problem that Dunn has is he needs to fill Heneghan's role whilst Spearing is knocking on the door.
Here's Dons news ..
AFC Wimbledon will be keen to bounce back in the best possible fashion this weekend as Blackpool make the trip down to Kingsmeadow in League One.
The Dons were on the receiving end of a humbling 5-0 defeat to Oxford United at the Kassam Stadium on Tuesday night, in what was one of the most disappointing performances from a Wimbledon side in recent times.
That result matches the club’s worst ever loss as AFC Wimbledon – a 5-0 defeat to York City in April 2010.
Wimbledon have now not won in six in the league, and 21st placed Tranmere have two games in hand on the Dons.
This Saturday’s clash against Blackpool will be no easy feat either, with AFC Wimbledon winning just one of their last five games against the Seasiders.
Glyn Hodges will likely revert back to a 3-5-2 formation for the clash, and that could see a handful of changes made.
The 29-year-old was limited to a substitute appearance on Tuesday night, coming off the bench in the 56th minute with Wimbledon 4-0 down.
In that time, he proved to be one of the best in Wimbledon’s midfield, which may prompt Hodges to start him on Saturday to add some dynamism in the middle of the park.
Although he has been used to playing the right-wing-back role this season for the Dons, Callum Reilly’s recent knock may open up a place for Wagstaff in the centre.
The 29-year-old has struggled with injuries this season, but made a recent return to action in the 2-2 draw to Rotherham, scoring a last-minute penalty to secure a point for the Dons.
He also featured on Tuesday night, but didn’t make much on an impact.
However, Joe Pigott has looked isolated up front at times, and it is clear he prefers being in a two-man attack.
Starting Appiah alongside him as a strike partnership may be the way to go on Saturday afternoon, as it could improve Wimbledon’s attacking threat in the final third.
