A mate of mine rung me earlier and said his daughter had bumped into someone who used to live in Blackpool and her husband played for us.

It was Richards wife. They have moved to Scarborough Beach, Perth, Australia.

I may be wrong but based on age it seemed a strange signing at the time & his first couple of games were horror shows. Soon put it right & we really missed him when he moved on. Massive character in videos that came out of the club.
