Players Out of Contract

Ekpiteta, Lavery, Virtue, Connolly and O'Donnell (the backup keeper).
Husband and Carey also out of contract but club have option to extend by one year, which I expect we will for both.

Some of our biggest earners leaving so should free up lots of wage budget to bring in new players.

I think you’ve summed it up well there. I’d extend O’Donnell and I think the 2 options will be exercised, would get rid of the rest. Guessing Marv and Connolly are both on large wages as has been rumoured.

Realistically I can see Rhodes coming in, we’ll try for Coulson I reckon and I can see it happening. Don’t think we’ll be able to get Byers, would like to see if Jerry is available for a loan.

Brendan Wiredu at Fleetwood is one I think could work really well for us.

Wiredu would be a great signing, however he recently signed a long term contract and was made captain so can't see the Cods letting him leave, especially to us.

Think they probably need the money, and from most comments, the contract extension was done more to add financial value than keep him with the club. Think he’s southern based though, which could lead to him maybe picking a club down there over us.

You forgot Chapman, our 3rd choice keeper is out of contract too.
Leaving us sith Grimmy as our only contracted keeper.

I didn't include him because he's never made an appearance for us and not sure if he has even made a matchday squad?
We definitely need to sign at least one more senior keeper, maybe two if we decide to cash in on Grimshaw.

I'd try to sign to Marko Marosi (age 30) from Shrewsbury and also one of Jon Mccracken (aged 23) from Norwich or Crawley's keeper Corey Addai (age 26) as backup, all three are out of contract next month.
