Season Ticket prices

I know we’re generally one of the last to announce but have the club said anything yet about our prices for next season?

Announcement made on the 15th May last year would expect somewhere around same time again.
I'll leave it until last day always do.😀

They do it at the time they do as tbf it's when stuff is happening and it also gives people time to get over the season just gone and start to look forward to the next.

I think they’ll put the season ticket prices up if anything
Well there was talk of Winter, who did it at Huddersfield apparently, being receptive to the idea of a cheap deal if you sell X, say 10k for eg it's 250 or whatever target and price they choose.

That would be great, I do think it would work better under a new manager and fresh start, just from an energy pov, not that I'm calling for that, but that's not happening anyway clearly.

It could still work well and I'd like to see something like that. We haven't really got creative and tried something like that under SS and if any club needed to rebuild the fanbase after what we went through for years it's us.

The Firestick Fanny Crew will treble in size thanks to a mundane 3-5-2 formation that just isn't football.

After 46 games and the defence still looked like strangers. What hope is there for next season.

We don't ever sell out even in our relatively small stadium so the price needs to reflect this to get has many fans in as possible

The problem we have is that the current manager has lost a large portion of our fanbase

Either make it £599 so the club can maximise income from the fans that will go anyway or make it £199 so we can try and get as many floating fans in as possible

Anything in between is just pointless

Burnley sold 15.5K of their 16K allowance for ST already. 12 month plan starts in May. Not an affluent town, but helping fans by spreading payment costs.

Blackpool will always be my club, but we really are a tinpot club and still unprofessional in so many areas.
The payment plan is good, however it helps to sell a lot when you're in the prem or going to be challenging to be champions of the championship to sell tickets.

We should definitely try a lower price strategy, I doubt we'll see 199 as I'd imagine the revenue needs to match what we'd generate at 350.

Cheapest is probably around 270 and aim to sell 10k to make 2.7m

I think we sold just a bit short of 8k this season at 350* making aprox 2.7m.

* there are many different prices so not completely accurate.

You then get increased match day sales etc but likely lower ticket sales.

Either way, I'd like to see something we can get behind and create a bit of excitement to try and capture and grow the fanbase.

Unless they did some sort of offer to new fans to attract them.

Tbh there many things they could do, including package ST with cup games and club discounts etc.

Interestingly, I have just seen Hudds have released theirs, who are now obviously in the same league as us. They're very good value, after a poor season, especially the U11s at £49.

We will make a really good signing from a non league side, and that will give a good reason to put up season tickets significantly.

The club are offering a free appointment with a fertility consultant for every clean sheet achieved. Next season firing blanks will be a bonus!

Mental isn’t it Phil.

Not sure what pushing for the Prem or in the Prem like “JJpool” says has anything to do with having a payment plan.

It SHOULD be an option.
The club are lacking on so many basic points.
Unprofessional & un engaging.
I believe @koudo mentioned about payment plans and target related pricing to the CEO at the last SD meeting .😒

I was replying to your post, not about the payment plan specifically, you said they'd sold 15k or whatever already.

The reality is that's because they're in the prem or will be in the championship near the top.

The payment plan is good and yes we should have one as it would no doubt help many and even open the door to many.

But you can have the best payment plan in the world, if you don't have as good a product to sell the masses won't flock as much.

Considering we’ve not had any individual match ticket offers for any game this season at home despite never selling out, I don’t see the club doing anything different with prices. Could have thrown in a 2 for 1 early April or a 20’s plenty… it’s not as if it’s an issue as lots of clubs don’t bring many anyway… but no, just the same price every game.

Safe, slow and steady is the mantra. Prize freeze or nominal increase I think.

The club definitely needs a hook this summer or they’ll lose a few.

Be about 5k season ticket holders this season unless something changes sharpish

Agree, there’ll be a big drop off in numbers this season.

There seems very little ‘connect’ between the club and the fans at the moment, I get the impression that the owner doesn’t really care if we’re there or we’re not.

No visible plan, no connection with the fans and nothing to enthuse us or get the place rocking again. Dreadful tactics, turgid football. Boring.

Exactly.

If you were being a bit picky, you could argue that for all intents and purposes it looks like the Club doesn't give a poop about ST's/fans and will probably simply apply the formula used by most Clubs.

An interest free PP is a basic.

tbh there's loads they could do, but they seem not really interested.

For me £249 is where you pitch it and then get your merchandising, catering and everything else around the club right to maximise on people who enter the ground. Sadly it's always felt we're a long way from that.

No we didn't , they virtually rolled over for us...... especially the first two.
You need to ditch the rose tinted glasses. We witnessed a borefest for the entire season, home and away, apart from the Forest game.
If they rolled over then we put them to the sword, doesn’t matter what their approach is ffs

I’m furious with this season so I’m not acting with rose tinted glasses at all,

I’ll just approach it with facts instead of manipulating how things went to suit your agenda like a child.
