Where is the cheapest fuel station ⛽ in the Fylde

t'was said on the news the other day that supermarkets are not reducing their etrol prices by as much as the could do and it seems to be true. Many garages are now cheaper than the supermarkets. Esso garage on Talbot Rd is 3p cheaper than Sainsburys just 100 yards away. It was on tuesday anyway.

I saw that 20s.
Some of them are charging way over what they should be.
I think that Morrisons are charging about 12P per litre more than they should, and others are worse.

Press the link from Halifax above being using the App for 12 months and it's brilliant.

It's irrelevant posting what a garage charges today if they get a delivery tomorrow the price can change up or down where the App tells you the cheapest place close by now.

The one nearest to where you live, save fuel, time & stress driving around looking to save £2.90 then having to queue to fill up,also i find if you have to wait for 4 other drivers to fill up in front of you it’s boring so you read those adverts on top of the fuel pumps, before you know it you go into the kiosk to pay for your fuel coupled with another £60 ish for a dashboard fan, a cooling gell dog mat( I don’t even have a dog anymore) a pair of “designer sunglasses “ which most certainly are not ( I look like that blind bloke out of peters & lee in mine) a ** rank smelling air freshener in the shape of a foot which smells like a foot, a light up magnifying glass, a bastarding phone holder that doesn’t fit my phone because I have the plus size iPhone as my eyes are fucked up( hence the magnifying glass) a travel plug & neck pillow, travel mug ( for hot or cold drinks) & then when I am actually paying & collecting all my items they tell me that the only thing out of stock from the above is the ** dashboard fan which in all honesty is the only item I was really looking forward to- apart from the fuel obviously, well I wasn’t really looking forward to the fuel come to that £150 to make a needle go up to the top of a dail on my dashboard isn’t my idea of enjoyment,my idea of enjoyment is posting shite on here & venting my total & utter disappointment about all the above to any of you who are stupid enough to read this

Supermarket petrol = shïte. Really avoid, unless you want to wreck your car.

E10 = shïte. See above. Also less efficient.

E5 = better, but I mean really expensive.
e.g. Went to garage on Fleetwood Rd today -
E10 price displayed on sign: £1.73
E5 price sneakily only shown on pump: : £1.95
Yes, 22p a litre more. It was 10p more all the way through the price rises, but that price now doesn’t appear to have reduced alongside the E10 and lower Brent value.

No have always been really competitive at Morriston or asda.

But right now the smaller ones are doing it cheaper.
Was referring to quality of the fuel the supermarkets sell rather than the price……been told they sell it cheaper because it’s shite

If you've got a decent car and plenty of disposable income, it's shite. If not, it's refined to the same standards as all the others. Some brands (incl supermarkets) add different detergents to the fuel.
The biggest issue with fuel is it going stale - so supermarket fuel is generally the freshest, as they have the highest throughput. And maintenance of the lines and tanks, which the supermarkets often do more thoroughly and frequently than independents.
The difference in standard and premium fuels is the octane level (or cetane in diesel) - the higher the level (in general) the more efficient the fuel is, so paying more for premium fuel would make a difference, but modern cars will manage the fuel/air mix more efficiently anyway, so it's less significant. If your car is over say 10 years old, premoim fuels might help - but it's only the same as sticking some Redex or other performance booster in your tank, so work out which is cheaper, a £3 bottle of Redex or 50 litres at an extra 10p a litre.
(I work closely with the refining industry)
