Just looking back this was our summer's business. Didn't realise it took so long before that first signing. Hope we learn from that and get some players in earlier this season as that start to the season, in hindsight, really cost us.

Just checked and Critchley returned on 23rd May and so I presume many of these transfers were already in place (especially the Joseph one which must have been in the pipeline with the Yates move for some time).
Am hoping the real reflection of the quality of signings so far of the Critch era are the Rhodes, Boyes and Coulson loans.
 
Think the problem this year is that everyone is tetchy because we all want something to happen.
I think there'll be a season ticket announcement in the next couple of weeks and the season is so far off there's plenty of time to get them.
I'd hope that June will see at least 4/6 players arrive at the club ready for pre-season training at the end of June.
I think the likelihood of any review of last season (as the PNE Chairman has done) is unlikely as it was a poor season there'll not want to dwell on.
I suppose the other thing that might rally the troops is news of the East and Training ground and Tony Parr announcing his retirement 😉

What a star studded list that is!
 
Morgan deal was agreed soon after Critch's arrival so that 1st July is just the official date with his Charlton contract ending on 30 June. Pennington could be similar. But there's not a lot of transfer movement in the first half of May I think? Nothing showing yet on the BBC transfer page.
 
Director of recruitment, David Downes, joined in June and CEO, Julian Winter in July last year. This is the first year they have been in place before the start of the main transfer window, so it will be interesting to see how they perform this summer.
