Will you buy a ST if Critchley returns?

For me, will be the ultimate slap in the face to fans. The man who left us in the shit with little or no regard to the club and where we were at, would be invited back with open arms. Like inviting an arsonist back to rebuild the house he's just torched. Not for me I'm afraid - of course I'll carry on going and probably will cost me more in the long run without a ST but I will send a letter to Sadler explaining why he has lost 2 ST holders if he brings him back.

Yes I will, I am a Blackpool supporter and I love my club ! If Critchley is the best man for the job he would get my full backing . I’d rather someone else was appointed but sometimes it’s better the devil you know . I’m glad I don’t have to make the decision for our new head coach, but whoever it is I’m a Pool Fan and always will be !

The man who got us promoted and will know how to get us promoted again? Yes I would renew no matter who is in charge because I’ll be backing my club
Being managed by the bloke who didn't give a shit about the club at the beginning of the season.
Yeh, he left for far more money than he was getting paid here so, I'll ask you, if a club in a higher league (a team being managed by Gerrard) comes knocking what's to say he won't fuck off at the drop of a hat again?

Or another way.....
You're in a strong relationship with your girl and she leaves you for a sugar daddy.
The sugar daddy tires of her and she ends up in another relationship where she gets what she wants but it's a rocky period, a short while later she's binned and is on the pull again.
You'd obviously have her back?
For old times sake eh!

any manager we have would fuck off for more money and a bigger club just like the players would to,that’s football

As I said @King Billy I'll 100% be backing the team and will continue to go but I think not buying an ST is one of the few ways you can make your opinion known. I just don't believe he should be allowed to return.
Fair enough. I know people who didn’t renew because of Appleton and it sounds like it’s going to be the same again.

For me, Critchley is a good coach, especially with regard to improving young players. However, as has been discussed many times before, as a team manager he only seemed to excel while having a seasoned assistant alongside him. Director of football may be a better prospect for him. Oversee the entire coaching side of the club while being practically involved in what he’s good at. The type of manager we need next season is someone young…and dynamic. Dobbie fits the bill. But if he was chosen, he too would need a Thompson, Calderwood, or McCall, etc., as No. 2.

Do you consider McCall and Calderwood as traitors aswel?

I think it would backfire the same way as Grayson and Appleton. You would like to think they won't make the same mistake thrice.

At this moment in time I would be happy to give Dobbie a chance next season with whoever he wants as his assistant, he's showed more nouse in 3 games than the last two did.

Yes, but for me it's simple. I lived down south for over 20 years and returned 18 months ago. I missed the buzz, the highs and the lows that made the highs so good. I hope that they don't appoint Critchley and that isn't because I have any long lasting bitterness towards him. It's because I feel it's time to move forward and try something fresh, be that Dobbie, or whoever. In my opinion we need someone who doesn't split the fan base and I feel Critchley would do that. However, if he's appointed then I will buy my ST and get behind him. We are only here for a limited time and now I can I want to see my team as much as I can.

Sorry but that made me laugh. It’s not personal. It’s football

He was a bit different to Grayson and Appleton. Plus they were both sacked.
I personally think we should be aiming for better but it wouldn’t be the end of the world if he did come back. At least his previous spell wasn’t failure

Of course, it's a job FFS. This is a mental industry and people who don't take opportunities when they come, usually live to regret it. He will have learned from the experience and should be more willing to commit realising the grass isn't always greener and the stability Blackpool can give him.

He immediately needs to clear up how he could and should have handled his departure better if he got the job. Then he needs to get on with it.

I'd be more pissed off IF Critchley is allowed to weasel his way back here, than was being relegated last night!!!

So NO won't be buying if it's Critchley!

Yes i will be renewing, do i want Critch back, do i fuck but i will support the team!

Thinking about it surely Sadler won’t make the same mistake he did with Appleton and risk splitting the fan base by employing Quitchley again, would he?

Can you imagine the reaction if ole Neil did his infamous heart shaped sign to the North and the three fist clenched salute !

Most Football fans will buy season tickets even if Micky Mouse was in charge. The club knows this, even if there is no will or wherewithall to be anything more than a league 1 club at best. Having Critchley back is a possibility, as they are not afraid of sticking two fingers up to the fans as they did with Appleton.

For the simple of thinking.
I didn't blame Critchley leaving for more money all I'm saying is if its happened once he may well do again.
Ans no one is talking about McCall and Calderwood coming back are they👍🏻

Yes I will renew even though I won’t be making many midweek games.

Did Critchley apologise for leaving us or explanation of his reasons for leaving.
Opinion would be much more positive if he had.

The biggest worry for me if we bring him back is that the board will not be learning lessons and making the same mistakes. It will put us in potentially the same position as when they appointed Appleton, a split fan base and the associated issues that come with that. I will buy a season ticket whatever but would prefer a clean break and new thinking in terms of manager...cast the net wide and get someone bright, young and ambitious.

There’s absolutely no doubt whatsoever and l will be buying 2xSTs, l support the club and the team whoever the manager is why not? One thing for sure though is that the next appointment is crucial and the Board must get this right and as soon as possible after the season ends and certainly before STs go sale in order to get those doubters buying again!

I support the team. The manager is just some-one who's the current incumbent and I'm not bothered who it is as long as he gets the results. If he doesn't then justified criticism is fine.

I may not buy an ST,
This has nothing to do with relegation or who will be manager.
It simply comes down to age. (mine of course, not the new manager 😉 )
Dark evening driving to and from game is not on. MrsDP doesn't like me driving when it's dark.
I more or less agree with her. (Didn't go last night).
Obviously I will go to all the matches played in daylight.

If he does return and people don't buy a ST, then turns out to be a success, the club would be very happy because of the full price walk onners. Assuming they can cover the short term summer cash flow reduction.
