Thompson at least tries to give options but the likes of Sonny Carey look at him making yet another run and turn back and play into Marv instead.Don’t get it.Do some of these players not trust Thompson?

I like Thompsons energy lately.I thought the same against Forest Green.He makes that run early and he wants it over the top but again they overlook him.

I know he has a mistake in him but his confidence must be shot to shit.Fans on him,teammates seemingly not confident with him and the manager clearly doesn’t fancy him aswell.Not exactly encouraging is it.

It’s strange isn’t it. Barely any of these players were in the side that got relegated, that could be why we play much more fearlessly.
 
Commentator was saying Thompson is a confidence player.. can't disagree. Certainly needs to go out on loan to play every week and get that confidence back. I'll be amazed if he doesn't go somewhere before end of Window.
 
Thompson needs to reinvent himself in another position because he is no defender unfortunately.

Nonsense. The last 20 Burton were the better team. Like I said, can't comment on the first 20 or so.

This half is all Burton without them threatening. Very boring if being honest.

Totally agree with your post except for Apter. Dont think he'd have been brought back without reason.

Mate - you're right - you ARE very boring. I never post on here, but i'm tired of reading you consistently put down the club and team, week after week.
You couldn't even choose a decent username. Please tell me, who's ever grinned when tense?

Of course there's a reason. Tranmere skint? He's tired of travelling? Lower league teams making bids? Off to Scotland? The one reason he's not returning is that he can feature in our first team. It just won't happen.

I often wonder the same thing about others. There is nothing I have said that is wrong. Burton ended the half better and they are on top in the second half. Having said that we look more dangerous on the counter as Lavery just proved there. Should have scored.
 
Our wonderful defence. Only Critchley would play Thompson at centre back and poor header. Ekpiteta didn't cover himself in glory, hesitant in the tackle and then Tharme was too weak in the tackle.
