KENNY DOUGALL DEPARTS BLACKPOOL.

Kenny fucked off mid-season on holiday to the snow.

Thanks for the Wembley goals, now fuck off.
that’s exactly what he’s done Lurks.
do you think Kenny gives a fuck what you, I or anyone else thinks….
It’s thanks KK but we move on as the team we’re trying to do when he was angling for his move.

£7, OOO,000 those two goals were worth alone so a bit more than a terse statement is frankly out of order and it's not bed wetting it just wanting some class from the club.
Yer 'avin a laugh, aren't ya? The only 'class' the hierarchy at BFC are familiar with, would relate to those you'll find in education establishments throughout the land designed for the purpose of accommodating school children and groups of students pursuing further education ...

I'm just curious what boxes are ticked by moving to a club in Thailand's equivalent of, I dunno, Middlesborough?

On the money side, the difference is that Henderson is set for life either way, Kenny isn't.

Any way, good luck to him.
There'll be groups of Teesiders doubtless pleasantly surprised by the above post. I doubt they'd realised they frequented a gaffe which was the absolute double of a conurbation located over in 'that there' Thailand!

The writing has been on the wall for a while, but still such a shame to see him leave. Thank you for the memories Kenny, particularly at Wembley in 2021.

On a side note (and I don’t like being critical of the club) but feel like the lack of a send off is a bit tasteless considering he’s played 150+ games for us and is arguably a big reason we were promoted and consolidated a place in the championship. I don’t know who makes the final decision on club comms, but they have been incredibly drab this season and it doesn’t feel as if the club are effectively utilising social media to engage with supporters.

I imagine it was the skiing holiday that pissed the club off during a busy period. Probably wanted a holiday before his move and didn’t give a shit what Blackpool thought as he’s off anyway.

That being said thanks Kenny for Wembley and giving your all when you put on the shirt.

There is some utter bollocks on this thread of which yours is just the latest.

Kenny is not retiring after an exemplary career and 500+ games.

It is clear that he has agitated for a move when most Blackpool fans and quite possibly the club would've wanted him to stay for our promotion challenge.

How many other clubs would get all dewy eyed with goodbyes and highlight reels if they were getting dumped by a fairly important player at a crucial time?

I truly hope thst the club said something to him like "thanks for the memories Kenny, now close the door and fuck off, we've got a promotion fight on our hands."

I thank him for his brace at Wembley which earned the club (Sadler) a rich reward.
A decent midfielder in league 1 who always tried his best. The manner of his leaving is strange but it's not a disaster. I wish him well

I have been thinking(very dangerous I know) and i wonder if things turned sour with the club holding out for a fee for him or the size of the fee which would in turn affect his wage negotiations with his new club.

Yeah, your right. Kenny and his missus should be waving their goodbyes right now on an open topped bus going down The Prom, all organised by the club with a live feed on YouTube.
SeasideKurt isn't even suggesting such a thing, you complete plank, he's simply making a request for improved communication from the club. Why don't you first try reading people's posts properly, before putting forward your incredibly 'witty', and fictitious, responses to them?

He has done everything playing-wise at Blackpool and probably wants the challenge and experience of playing somewhere new. I suspect he speaks Thai and will love the food there as he will have grown up eating Thai food. As for wages, it looks like they pay as well as Blackpool in the championship, so if he has secured a 3-year deal he will do okay financially out of the move.

As for how he left the club when you have a manager who has previously left for more money when he was under contract, it hardly inspires
loyalty or respect amongst the players when they get a opportunity from another club. Also Critch leaving and being replaced by Appleton
that clearly didn't rate him over the kids, probably cost him a chance of going to the World Cup. Then there was McCarthy overlooking him for
Connolly in midfield, I suspect he has been looking for a move for sometime.

Obviously there has been a delay in him leaving probably due to negotiations over a transfer fee, or maybe Blackpool have been waiting on his replacement being arranged.

I wish him well, as he gave us a special time at Wembley and always did his best. If we are still in league one in 2-3 years time we will then
remember how special he really was.

Who has said he stopped playing to force a move. He said he wanted to leave so the manager stopped selecting him in favour of players who are still going to be here. We have no god given right to know exactly what has gone on. Internal matters are best kept internal. I say thanks Kenny for your time here. You have been a great player for us. All the best for your future.

Hard to argue with this on the face of it.

He’s an employee of the club who has left.

Not really fussed how it’s happened that’s a matter between him and his employers.

All I’m interested in is whether he’s available for Saturday to play for the club I support - no.

He did his best I thank him for that he’s moved on to another job and he ll probably move on again .

He’s not a Blackpool fan just worked here

People are too hung up on relationships with people they’ve never met these days .

And he was an average player
If he's not yet married, him and his wife to be couldn't live together. Their country, their laws etc.

When he gets there and goes into the bars she won't be around for long!! 😂😂😂

If I chose to piss off on holiday from my job and then whilst there tell em I've actually been seeking out a new job I wouldn't expect a big fanfare when I left.
Thanks for the memories Kenny but he's obviously been engineering a move to a tin pot league for the last couple of months so f@ck him, we move on!

Just about sums up the club's ambition to get back to the Championship. Let our best midfielder go and bob around mid to upper mid in Division 1!

A boost to cash flow at least. Although it's difficult to be certain of anything at Pool given the poor communication that surrounds the club.
Your original post suggested he’d made SS a load of money “rich reward” the statutory accounts don’t support that contention .

Sadler owns the club so all income is 'his' and promotion / championship football will have brought in a considerable amount.
In my 67 years of supporting and watching Pool I've yet to come across an owner who didn't make money out of the football side of the club.

Every business Owen Oyston ran posted losses in their accounts yet he seemed to magic a hell of a lot of moolah up to support his lifestyle. Paper Losses are useful.
