Bolton look a better footballing team than us and always seem to have an option to make a pass.

Whereas our play generally breaks down after one or two passes.
 
I knew he would play tonight but how does he play or get in squad every game... connolly is just pants

Bolton do look great
 
Goalkeeper has been calamitous. Defenders have been bullied and woeful in possession. Midfielders have been laboured, lazy on the ball and overran. Attackers have been anonymous. Other than that, not too much to grumble about 😂
 
Lyons, Gabriel and Carey have been garbage. We've been poor and struggling to string 2 passes together. Lucky to be level and hopefully a few changes can get us on the front foot.

Bolton play forwards, Blackpool play backwards..

How many times have we won the ball, seen players make a run and we turn and pass back to the defense? So frustrating to watch..
 
Evo put a good game plan together, 2nd half should be different. We probably need to stay in the game and unleash CJ and Kouassi later on.

Gonna be tough to get a result here as Bolton’s defence is on it, just like they were when we played at theirs.
 
How does Critch expect to win with 3 forwards ,the tallest being 5ft 7 ish against a team of giants? He must have a plan.Or does he?
 
The clearest thing is they are stronger and more physically committed than us. We look a bit slow and lightweight, some players falling over and looking for fouls. I agree we need to try out Kouassi and let them know they are in a game.
 
Dembele ineffective and muscled out. Connolly lucky to be on the pitch (in more ways than one) for all Lavery’s pressing he’s not quick enough to get half a yard on most defenders to get a shot away. I could go on. But as we found on Saturday it’s still 0-0.
