Did anybody take Saville to court for being a Paedo though?I’m not sure what point you are trying to make.
Jimmy Saville raised lots of money for charity….He’s still a Paedo

WPC?What do these people @VegasoftheNorth get off on?
How many different usernames has this particular poster got/had?
So why dont you buy the club & invest more than Simon??Might get some stick for this. We've all got different opinions and I'm not posting this for trouble here we go..
Who thinks Sadler is the dream owner. For me I'm gonna say no. We've not moved on from the oystons. Byers & Rhodes great signings but not our players. We've done everything on the cheap. Training ground & new east stand for me all a smokescreen. We signed 2 on deadline day. 1 maybe for the future & other one won't see this season due to injury..
Kept the club from extinction!, especially during covid! What's he done. A bit of paint around the stadium to tidy it up. Most of our fans have been disappointed with last few transfer windows apart from the one that's just gone.
I didn’t know you were a financial expert on the running of BFC….. of the first order…go back to Dungdale where you belong.Might get some stick for this. We've all got different opinions and I'm not posting this for trouble here we go..

Only if inc free lube….If that’s what is needed to get it to the Prem then fuck if I will take one for the team if the rest of you will too
UTMP
You don't have to go to court for being shit owners of a football club eitherWhat difference does that make ?
You don’t have to go to court to be a paedo
I’m afraid you’ve lost me.You don't have to go to court for being shit owners of a football club either
He doesn’t drinkKev, why don’t you invite SS out for a couple of jars and chat it through with him? Give him some direction and explain where he’s going wrong. I’m sure he’d welcome the guidance
Thank god for thatI’m afraid you’ve lost me.
Why didn’t you just say that in the first place. He doesn’t drink
Without VB doing what he did we’d still but under the yoke of ‘ the fan since 2 years old ‘Oh dear Arrie.
Oyston took it from the club and the courts made him give it to Belekon.
So now Belekon has it.
I hope that hasn't tarnished how you feel about your hero.
Arrie you have completely lost me here .I think he has got most or all of his money back what he paid for the club,
I’m not sure what point you are trying to make.
Jimmy Saville raised lots of money for charity….He’s still a Paedo
needs a lot to keep up with the heels brigade. What do these people @VegasoftheNorth get off on?
How many different usernames has this particular poster got/had?
yal pick it up as we go along.Arrie you have completely lost me here .
What you on about lad ?
for you,he caught another. What do these people @VegasoftheNorth get off on?

It’s not scarred from the past. It’s wanting a grown man’s actions to match his words and if he can’t do that say nowt. I’d rather he focus on helping his pick of manager get out of league one as he’s drowning in plain sight at present. It'll be better when he's actually got one of these big projects off the ground, as then it'll be physical proof that he does what he says, not that he needs it to me, but clearly some are scarred from the past.
Ate you 12?for you,he caught another.
You’ve got it all worked out luker. So by your logic we might aswell have Oyston as have Sadler, in which case there was no point in Belekon getting rid of Oyston!
Don’t take one for the team chunky.Only if inc free lube….
I'm not sure I'd describe placing your trust in the advice of one of the best law firms in the country with a case that was pretty much cut and dried as 'Rolling the Dice' ... There was certainly some uncertainty as to whether he'd bag as much swag as he did, but he was always getting something....Without VB doing what he did we’d still but under the yoke of ‘ the fan since 2 years old ‘
He rolled the dice not knowing the outcome
For that many will always be grateful
Most sensible statement said in the thread.I think that Simon Sadler has done a great job in terms of stabilising the Club and turning it into a professional outfit, following several years of decline under the Oyston tenure.
I do wonder though whether last season has wearied him and the reality of owning a football club is hitting home. I wouldn’t be surprised if he does look to exit at some point and in all honesty I wouldn’t blame him if he did.
Personally speaking, my dream owner would be someone who would come in and spend our way back to the Premier League. Just for once it would be fantastic to be that team who could outspend your rivals and attract the very best players etc… Of course, that’s probably not realistic, but we are talking ‘dreams’.
I think this is pretty much spot on.I think that Simon Sadler has done a great job in terms of stabilising the Club and turning it into a professional outfit, following several years of decline under the Oyston tenure.

Well some seem to be. Also give him a chance, these big projects take time and have a lot of moving parts and are in the hands of 2 different councils at this stage. It’s not scarred from the past. similar to what oystons kept promising, kind of thing?.Well some seem to be. Also give him a chance, these big projects take time and have a lot of moving parts and are in the hands of 2 different councils at this stage.
It doesn't matter who was in charge and if things are held up for those reasons, nothing would happen.
Nope, nothing like that, the Oystons didn't have live projects waiting to take off just waiting on outside factors did they?similar to what oystons kept promising, kind of thing?.
Surely whatever anyone thinks of VB his intervention was massively fortuitous for everyone who joined the boycott. It precipitated action that saw off the Oystons. I can't think of any other turn of events that might have secured this result. Its outrageous really how lucky we were. The Oystons would otherwise still be sucking whatever they could from the corpse of BFC. Of course I'd rather some of VB's bingo win had come our way, but at least now we are back in the game. The rest is up to us and Simon Sadler or whoever he might sell to somewhere down the line.I'm not sure I'd describe placing your trust in the advice of one of the best law firms in the country with a case that was pretty much cut and dried as 'Rolling the Dice' ... He's probably the only bloke Owen has ever met who's more dodgy than himself...
BelokonYou’ve got it all worked out luker.
That's a low estimate.Every time we have a thread about Sadler the amount he has put into the club goes up.
He's put 727 billion of his own money into the club so far.
You could probably write a book on all the things Simon Sadler's done for BFC since he first took up ownership of the club. What's he done. A bit of paint around the stadium to tidy it up. Most of our fans have been disappointed with last few transfer windows apart from the one that's just gone.
You could write a book? Do we have a new stand? Has one brick been laid on a new training ground? What division are we in? Automatic promotion position? Playoff position? Managerial stability? Kept costs low and had the club incur more debt than under the Oystons? I don’t think you want to write a book at this juncture. I’d be patient and cross my fingers if I were you.You could probably write a book on all the things Simon Sadler's done for BFC since he first took up ownership of the club.
And yet, you, miraculously, attempt to minimise the scale of what has been achieved by dismissively referring to how the undertaking of the project simply involved physically applying, and, I quote, 'a bit of paint around the stadium to tidy it up.' And that's taken the best part of several years, has it? Yeah - right ...
All of which prompts me to raise the following: "In order that I can hopefully manage some sleep tonight, I would be hugely grateful if you please just let me know - Are you for real?"
You raise some legitimate concerns, to be fair. And, yes, you're right, any plans for a book perhaps need to be put on hold for the foreseeable future ...You could write a book? Do we have a new stand? Has one brick been laid on a new training ground? What division are we in? Automatic promotion position? Playoff position? Managerial stability? Kept costs low and had the club incur more debt than under the Oystons? I don’t think you want to write a book at this juncture. I’d be patient and cross my fingers if I were you.
Fortuitous in the respect that his actions ridded the club of the Oyston Family, yes. As I’ve said many times before though… Walking off into the sunset with £30M from the BFC coffers without making any kind of gesture is not going to attract any ‘Hero Worship’ from me . Remainder of post removed.Surely whatever anyone thinks of VB his intervention was massively fortuitous for everyone who joined the boycott. It precipitated action that saw off the Oystons. You're entitled to your opinions, but as a longtime friend and mentor of mine once said "Opinions are like arseholes, everyone has one and sometimes they're full of s***"Might get some stick for this. We've all got different opinions and I'm not posting this for trouble here we go..

That's a bit insulting . . . to peasWhat a shit post from a pea brain.
Yes, that's the basis of what I've said. I just can't think of any other set of circumstances that would have seen them off. they finally came up against someone with enough power and money and who wanted revenge. Fortunately for us lot, leaving us with a functioning football club that has more than a puncher's chance of growing to be a significant force once again.Fortuitous in the respect that his actions ridded the club of the Oyston Family, yes. As I’ve said many times before though… Walking off into the sunset with £30M from the BFC coffers without making any kind of gesture is not going to attract any ‘Hero Worship’ from me and neither is utilising the Club as a Laundry.
you want to wash your mouth out, what ya swearing for,if you don’t like my post don’t read them.I am not a knobber or multi name user,I have watch Blackpool for around 55 years,so I think I am entitled to an opinion, even if you don’t agree. You need to change your user name to a r s e d i c k……..you are either a knobber or a multi name user who hides behind this one given the number of your posts when you want to be …..see my new name for you.
out of order there billy, don’t get personal. You’re a loser and your wife isn’t satisfied I’m guessing
Yet if anyone comes back and has an alternative view to the one you agree with, people get all defensive and 'all opinions are valid'.Why is it that when anyone remotely questions Sadlers ownership you get the same sycophantic posters going ape shit about it?
Do you really think that someone of SS’s undoubted calibre is gonna up sticks and fuck off because a few peeps on a message board dare to have a chat about what is and isn’t happening at our club?
All opinions should be valid in this bit off a doss chat room, those that take it too seriously I suggest could do with some help!
