I disagree. He would get into most West Lancs teams. He is stealing a living , would not get in a half decent West Lancs team , crap
No he would not , and now missed a pen , he is shite .I disagree. He would get into most West Lancs teams.
He always looks like that to be fair, lost a yard of pace since his injury.Always looks overweight to me when I see him.
Poor lad is losing his hair and getting a Dad bod!Always looks overweight to me when I see him.
Haha innit. Tbf I thought he looked hungry on the left, no pun intended .Poor lad is losing his hair and getting a Dad bod!
I agree dog pooHe is stealing a living , would not get in a half decent West Lancs team , crap
No he wasn't. Byers was better for one.He was our best outfield player in the second half.
Coulson was decent, Bees very very good and CJ good too, not sure how you come to those conclusions? He was definitely better in the 2nd half but I suppose that wasn’t difficult. Put himself about a lot more and close defenders down better.
Didn’t do a lot wrong with the penalty ( ok he didn’t score) but he hit the target, he hit it hard and low to one side but fair play to the keeper for a good save. That said, for a midget in goal, you would expect the striker to score.
Certainly a few there had a worse game…Coulson for one, Beesley apart from his headed goal was dire, & CJ was being CJ.
All about opinions and I’m standing by mine. Coulson had good energy but didn’t set anything up and gave the ball away a lot.Coulson was decent, Bees very very good and CJ good too, not sure how you come to those conclusions?
I thought Byers was superb in the first half . . his best game for us but faded in the second and didn't seem to get involved enough . . .same with Carey. No he wasn't. Byers was better for one.
TBH, I'm surprised nobody has spotted this and tried to coach him to run in a more orthodox manner. I don't know if that splayed footed style is a root cause of his injury problems but it must affect his balance and ball control. He's a good lad and started the season well but his injuries have blighted his career. He runs like a girl, with his lower legs flailing out at a funny angle
He would blow away if he didn’t have a darb. Leave it out.Always looks overweight to me when I see him.
Once again ,another game where the ball was given to him from height or distance with a bigger and faster player marking him . Put the ball to his feet and he would be more of a problem to the opposition . Also we would never have had the penalty if it had not been for his persistence and work rate . Ok he did not score off the pen ,but it was more of a good save rather then a poor pen.He is stealing a living , would not get in a half decent West Lancs team , crap
No're could RhodesWell that sums him up, could not score from the penalty spot
Like most players this season he’s not playing to his strengths due to the team set up IMOOnce again ,another game where the ball was given to him from height or distance with a bigger and faster player marking him . Put the ball to his feet and he would be more of a problem to the opposition . Also we would never have had the penalty if it had not been for his persistence and work rate . Ok he did not score off the pen ,but it was more of a good save rather then a poor pen.
" On line lemmings" brilliant, wish I'd thought of that. I wish they would all run over a cliff and disappear. Just about every thread on here descends into slagging off the manager, individual players, sadler, the club, progress off the field, etc. Not what true supporters do.Lavery seems to get mostly long or high balls where if you are small you have not got the physical strength or outright speed to beat big defenders . If you think Beesley or Kuassi can dribble then your wrong . Lavery can be a handful being given the right balls . His work rate is excellent and he earned the penalty . What I saw was a bloke desperate to score and took a decent pen that was saved . Now we have the on line lemmings that have to jump on the slagging and can't see the positives
