Defence is poor. 2 cb are poor and now again we have to try to break down a a well drilled team. Lubala not great again but apart from that we are doing better
 
Yates has been great. No one has created anything of use for him or played an even half decent final ball but the lad is chasing back and wining the ball and creating his own chances. At one point he was in the left back slot and then the defensive midfield position winning the ball. The fact he’s yet to score is nothing to do with him. He’s doing everything he can
 
Said it loads of times. With the style we play the first goal is so important, which it always is tbh but teams will camp in their half and then it’ll be Plymouth all over again and again.
 
Our general play is good and I have no issues with it but when we give teams a goal headstart and allow them to just sit back and defend it makes it so hard to break them down. That said it does seem like cbs aside we lack a little bit of stardust
 
If still 1-0 at 60 I want to see better subs from Critch. Madine would be good against these bunch of knobheads. Kaikai had fun here last season too.
 
I'm not sure what the referees problem is... perhaps he had a bad donkey ride on the prom in his youth?

Overall we look better than them - they got "one of those" goals... not overly bothered by the result today but if we get one I can see us getting another (or another two)

Utterly Shite first 20 minutes. Centre back pairing have looked poor all half. We need improved personnel there!

Dominated the ball but it just hasn’t clicked yet in general going forward. But we re only 2.5 games into a new era it’ll come.
 
Absolutely frustrating. Persistent basic passing errors and poor decision making. You know the tools are there to smash this abject Gills team but just error after error after error.

Oh and the ref is a bellend. Everything to them.
 
Frustrating half that, shot ourselves in the foot again early on, then dominated possession but no goal chances.
 
There appear to be two types of fouls, any tackle we make is a foul, whereas, any tackle on our players is not a foul. that said, we need to get our game together in front of goal,
