Thick scousers

If there was anywhere to moan about Furlough, Lockdown, Etc etc it would be Scouseland.

But hey, things will be alright, because they can tell a joke or two ?

Idiots.

Comedy carpet to Central Pier.
These half wits are opposed to social distancing, lock downs, wearing of masks etc.
Might i suggest that they walk to BVH and take a look (through a window) at the number of cases of Covid in there both on the wards and in ICU.

Agree those scenes were disgusting to watch but it’s not just the scousers is it? The Police simply have to round everyone up who are in groups of more than 6 people and only release them once £1,000 fines have been paid, they’ll think twice about it the next time as mummy and daddy won’t keep paying.

Hardly - headline news, and they should be deservedly criticised for the 'childish' and selfish way they are behaving.

As too should the Mancs, who have regularly been transgressing.
Really, I don’t see that in Manchester. The fact is, many thousands of Uni Students descended on the city and guess what...you can’t blame local residents who are, and in a very large majority, adhering to the rules.

TT, plenty of documented raves etc
Plenty of parties in HoR and other shared student accommodation.

In some areas of GM you also have to factor multi-generational households, who are not breaking any laws.

I think TAM put the stat up last week, the rate of infection per 100k is around 150 excluding the students in Manchester.

We need to avoid a general blame culture, and understand the many factors at play, whilst rightly condemning the sort of video evidence we’ve seen, for example in Liverpool, but anywhere that happens.

We can’t just condemn whole towns or cities. Conversely, we shouldn’t hold up the infection rates for sleepy towns, as evidence their residents are behaving perfectly.

Tell

Pls tell me I’m wrong but it’s the implied link with Hillsborough that I find disgusting. 😔
There's no link to that tragic loss of life
Just questioning why they are moaning about lockdown yet behave in this manner.
The rise in local infection levels is surely linked to the behaviour of those living there

Arrest them all

I'm not sure that people in an area on the verge of Tier 3 should be pointing the finger at anyone else, to be honest.

The truth is that there are idiots and truth deniers everywhere in society. Singling out one area for this kind of attack is pointless.

If you want thick, look at Johnson and his crew of lazy fools. Liverpool has not even got the highest infection rate. They are all over the shop

All these towns are still in Tier 1

It's an easy story to show a bunch of kids in a confined space acting up. But how many of them are actually going to be positive and spreading it? I've no idea, but I'm willing to bet it's less than 20% at most. Yes it's stupid. Yes it's inconsiderate. But using it as evidence of a bigger problem is also disingenuous at best and disinformation at worst.

The spread of this virus over the next 6 months really won't have much to do with this sort of thing. Just as one person with flu attending a football match doesn't automatically give the 100 people immediately sat around them flu.

What do the numbers mean TAM ? Need a bit of context for the point you are trying to make.

Hi goose. Hope ur doing well. Yep, at airport hotel and had cardiac arrest. Technically dead for 20 mins. Wife did CPR and brought me back. Ended up in Wythenshaw for 7 weeks and had triple bypass. Now feel like I’m 30years younger and back to having a go at Hendo, so must be fine 😜

That puts everything into perspective! Best of luck.
At least you know one thing now - your missus must like you!
😉

Here on the Wirral the rate is around 290 which is less than the majority of towns in the North West. Yet we are in tier 3.

I can assure you that the majority in Liverpool last night were not Scousers.
Its like having a pop at Blackpool folk when a mass brawl occurs outside the Foxhall pub during Scottish weekend!

How can you assure me they were not scousers?
Have you all their names and addresses?
If so pass them to the police.

Sounds like you've been through the mill Bendit. Glad to hear you're recovering. 👍 I've missed our debates on the captain of the English, European and World Champions. 😉
