Todays figures for Lancs

Isn't West Lancs the sea?
😀 Its a bit bloody cold to even go for a paddle never mind a dip at this time of year, probably explains why rates are low 👍 .

Decent figures but we are still above average 😔

You're obsessed!!

Tier 2 here in Cambs, level where Live is 40, but no sign of Tier being reduced. Not sure what posting about it every 5 minutes is going to achieve?

Blackpool is still above UK average - around 234 per 100k
BBC is stating this pal:

Blackpool

Find out more about the restrictions in your area

167
cases per 100,000 people in the latest week 20 Nov-26 Nov. The average area in England had 130.

233
cases in the latest week 20 Nov-26 Nov
-86
compared with the previous week
5,205
total cases to 30 Nov

195
coronavirus-related deaths registered to 13 Nov

That’s not what the medical director has just told us watching your video he said Fylde has risen a hell of a lot in the last week.
Perhaps Fylde was low 7 days ago, rose, and has started to come back down?
I suppose it just shows how different sources are interpreting the data.
Wyre coming down still so I'm happy with that.

The same areas as usual letting the side down in Lancashire, keep them in tier 3 and anything below the overall tier 2 please.

Edit to add - sadly it will not happen.

Areas shouldn’t be still rising in what is effectively our 5th week of lockdown, something seriously wrong somewhere.

I might not understand it properly but yesterdays listing for Blackpool showed a rate of 137.7 and a downward trend.
Todays rate for Blackpool showed a rate of 147.7 and a downward trend. Forgive me but 147.7 is higher than 137.7 so is the trend not upwards?

Thry ste comparing it to this time last week. At least that's what it says at the bottom of the figures.
