looks a good signing, slotted in well, some decent passing.
what a goal from yates, never gave up with 5 players round him - utp!!!

Just thinking the same. He and Dougall will be a class actStewart, the passing midfielder we all craved for...
Him and Dougal could be great together.
I'm not convinced they're right together in a 4-4-2. In a 3-5-2 perhaps but we lack a midfielder that constantly gets in to the box if we play them both in 4-4-2.Just thinking the same. He and Dougall will be a class act
Would have been a sitter if he was right footed. A decent chance with his weaker foot I’d say.Great performance .
I am always critical when someone posts that a player has missed a “sitter“ when it was just a decent chance.
That was a SITTER!
Not hard really Rekt - he's good, you can see why he's played at a higher level than this up to now. More to come but you can see the quality.Found it hard to gauge him tonight.
Think he’s miles off being up to game speed, but there’s a obviously something there he has a nice touch and always seems to be available for the ball.
Shooting practice in the morning.
Everyone’s going overboard abit on him, off tonight’s performance. I don’t think him and Dougall in a midfield two is great, a three maybe. Not hard really Rekt - he's good, you can see why he's played at a higher level than this up to now. More to come but you can see the quality.
Stewart is playing himself into fitness, Dougall back from Covid, both still looked good. Not going overboard, you can just see what Stewart has got even at this stage.Everyone’s going overboard abit on him, off tonight’s performance. I said I can see there’s a good player in there, obvious why he’s played at a higher level. But needs more game time.
Not many of our team showed much tonight.
Yates and Marv. Everyone else was going through the motions.
I agree, but both will take weeks to get up to game speed. But be honest people are anointing him as the second coming tonight. In reality he didn’t do that much. No one did.Stewart is playing himself into fitness, Dougall back from Covid, both still looked good. Not going overboard, you can just see what Stewart has got even at this stage.
Yates didn't have a great game. Rescued it in injury time.
Plus he's playing against big centre halves and not young lads like him. Bound to feel the pace for a while. Didnt let us down. His forward passing was very incisive at times so a very good start from him. Simms started well but he'd started to struggle by the time he got subbed. Probably a fair bit of tiredness and his touch went because of it. As Chissy or Ben said he'll get better with more game time. But there's plenty of promise there.
Indeed he didn't. He started off very well and as I said his touch deserted him the longer the game went on. Certainly looks more promising than Woodburn or Kemp even though different positions.Plus he's playing against big centre halves and not young lads like him. Bound to feel the pace for a while. Yes. Left and right!Had a decent game how does Embleton fit into team can he play out wide.
Can they practice passing as well as shooting. Lots of passes going astray and the player making the pass was not being pressured.Found it hard to gauge him tonight.

You both must have been steamingMe and my lad thought there were similarities to Charlie, the way he moves, sharp passing and looking to get into the box. Could be very very good when fit, but will take time to get there.
He is right footed.Would have been a sitter if he was right footed. A decent chance with his weaker foot I’d say.
Ha, no, not a drop and he’s 15.You both must have been steaming
Absolutely. Looks like he'll add a new dimension to the team once up to speed.Indeed he didn't. He started off very well and as I said his touch deserted him the longer the game went on. Certainly looks more promising than Woodburn or Kemp even though different positions.
