I asked what Bailey would do to reduce knife crime that was different to what Khan has done. I don’t seem to have had an answer yet.

I wasn’t talking about year on year. So nothing to do with lockdown. Figures in 2020 well down on the early 2000s. Although to be fair they are all in the same ball park (above 100 and below 250) and come nowhere near the figures in US cities.

Well, that’s ok then, in between 100 and 250 is the bench mark that your happy with.

Not happy with it. Just looking at historical trends over a long period of time. Periods when Khan wasn’t the mayor (but the current PM was).

If Bailey or Fox think they can get it below 100, when all predecessors of all political persuasions have failed to do so, then cracking 👍 But as I keep asking - how will that be achieved?

So just keep ploughing the same furrow with the incumbent then ? May aswell keep ploughing the same furrow with Boris going forward. No need for change then.

Didn’t say that. You hitched your horses to the Bailey Bandwagon so I’m just asking what his plan is to reduce knife crime in London. So we can achieve the challenging figure of below 100 homicides pa that you seem to have set for him.

I didn’t set any figures, you gave the figures mex, I merely said change may be good for London and Bailey could be the man. How he gets knife crime Down Would be his biggest chalenge.

Sorry for not answering your question before now but I have only seen it just now and I don't live on here 24/7 - not quite.

I would take Shaun Bailey over Khan every day of the week and three times on a Sunday.

Khan doesn't support the Government, before you say that it's job to do so, he is deliberately against the Government at every opportunity he gets whether that's for the good of the people of London or not.

He's failed on crime and particularly knife crime and he has attitude towards the visit of the US president was a disgrace.

I won't pretend to be close to the ground but I am struggling to think of any major achievements during his reign.

Laurence Fox would do a better job than Khan - he couldn't do worse - but I am happier to give Shaun Bailey a chance and your question to me was Khan or Bailey and I'm going for Bailey.

Last week he spoke of knocking up a few affordable houses, that's a start but surely it would be better to give him the chance to correct Khan's failings or even arrest the decline rather than let Khan continue.

I am not predicting anything other than a victory for Khan but I am assuming that your question was who would I prefer to be the Mayor and not who did I think would be successful in the elections.

Yup although they aren't too fussed as long as they continue to get 10 x the nett spend per head than the rest of the country get, enjoy a subsidised integrated rail system,all you can eat buffets at Borough Market and of course inflation busting pensions when they retire.

Would turkeys ever vote for Christmas? No I dont think the Pearly Kings and Queens would tbo.

I don't wish to be rude Wiz but I'm calling it a night now and not dodging you.

If you are happy with Khan then that's fair enough but I am thinking you are getting behind him because of his anti Government stance rather than because of his achievements - whatever they maybe ? - while in office.
 
He's going to win regardless of what me or thee think Wiz.

There are more than a million muslims in the capital.
