BBC2 now with BBC Symphony Orchestra. Brilliant. If you’re not a fan don’t bother commenting

I first felt a fist and then a kick, couldn’t help smell their breath’s ️They smelt of suds and Wormwood Scrubs. And too many right wing meetings.
Too many favs but most of setting sons album, strange town, thick as thieves. Style Council, walls come tumbling down, youre the best thing.Layton
I wouldn't call myself a Paul Weller fan but I will comment if that's OK.
I've just taped all the programmes with him tonight because he has banged out some good tunes in his time.
What's everybody's favourite Paul Weller/Jam song ?
Without thinking too hard, I'd say That's Entertainment and Town Called Malice but I'll probably have missed out some better ones.

I think they actually smelt of 'pubs'....They smelt of suds and Wormwood Scrubs. And too many right wing meetings.
I haven’t checked but suspect you’re right. The word “suds” entered my brain some time in the 70s and has been stuck in there ever since.I think they actually smelt of 'pubs'....

Saw the Jam a few times back in the day, and more recently From the Jam on a couple of their tours. As you say, Foxton just hasn't changed.Had the luck and pleasure to see The Jam 5 times in two years when I was 15-17. They were stunningly good. Didn't mind Style Council but I can't get on with a lot of his solo stuff. New albums ok though.
Seen From the Jam once and Foxton hasn't changed. My Mrs bumped into him at the gig and she nearly fainted.
Seeing them with Selecter in Manchester early next year.
I'm actually going for Selecter more than From the Jam. I've seen Selecter probably more times than most bands. From the Jam are a huge huge bonus though.Saw the Jam a few times back in the day, and more recently From the Jam on a couple of their tours. As you say, Foxton just hasn't changed.
Fantastic live back then and From the Jam give it a damned good go. They're at Leeds Beckett in October with The Selecter.
Do you mean Giles Martin...son of?George Martin could have produced this tonight
That's my go to if I'm ever drunk enough to do karaoke. That and down in the tube station at midnight.Surprised no-one has picked Going Underground.

I’m already half cut. Looks like it’s a Jam night.“All shapes and classes sit and pray together”
