What do we think the club will do regarding the Northern section of the East Stand? The demand will be there for home fans but I have a horrible feeling we will see a stand full of Nob enders come derby day
Fuck all.How many do they normally take away ?
They’ll bring one horse n cart I reckonFuck all.
MoneyFor safety reasons I don’t believe the club would give that section to away fans
My question about giving it to home fans would be, where are these fans for the other games, when other parts of the ground are not sold out?
Why make special arrangements for fans who clearly just turn up for the local derby?
If the demand is there, the club will open that section, or part of it, for all games. As things stand, demand is not there.
2,000 @ £23 a ticket = £46,000 take a bit off due to a few chavvy kids turning up giving it the biggun. Whilst this must be tempting surely if we gave the nobbers that section the police/stewarding costs would at least double…..and then there’s the possibility of the Clubs name been dragged through the mud because of poor behaviour……bad idea IMO and will not happenMoney
*Our not areIt would be a real shame if that section was completely empty. I’d rather see those seats given to Preston (if they can sell them- big if) rather than be empty.
Also if we only give them say 2000-2200 tickets are they going to give us the full away stand? They might limit are allocation as a result
Ridiculous comment. If we can get home fans in there then we should. We want to expand our fanbase and that kind of petty single mindedness is counter-productive. Why would you give 5k seats to away fans when we will comfortably fill that half of the East with pool supporters?I’am amazed some on here want to make special arrangements to house the drifting Pool fans who haven’t bothered going to a game yet but will come along for the Preston/Blackburn games and won’t bother turning up again this season.
If we can’t sell out 3 sides give them the whole east otherwise we’ll get a limited amount at Deepdale.
If you read my so called ridiculous comments again that’s what I’ve said for Christ’s sake.Ridiculous comment. If we can get home fans in there then we should. To me, your post implies that the fans who haven't turned up to the home matches so far will turn up for Preston and Blackburn at home but you want to stick your fingers up to them and not let them take up the seats in the North end of the East. Apoligies if you meant otherwise. If you read my so called ridiculous comments again that’s what I’ve said for Christ’s sake.
“If we can’t sell out 3 sides give them the whole east”
Apologies if you don’t understand what I mean but I can’t say it any other way.
Until we can fill our own end it's a fair comment and our fans in the east is a dream until then.Ridiculous comment. If we can get home fans in there then we should. They will get 2200 for the south end of the east. They will sell out their allocation.
We will sell out the three home ends vs Preston.Until we can fill our own end it's a fair comment and our fans in the east is a dream until then.
Strongly AgreeIf we give them a third of the ground (which is pretty much what the East stand is), then it's a disgrace. You're not telling me that there is nothing the club can do to ensure the north half of the stand is given to home fans. It really needs to do whatever it takes.
But our capacity is only about 16k so us giving them 2400 is about 15%.If Preston only get 2,200 then I reckon they will only give 2,400 for the return fixture. The minimum you have to provide is 10% of your capacity.
About a number 68 bus full.
Not sure drifting fans is an accurate description. Some cannot attend every game due to work, family or location but they may be able to deal with these issues for some of the bigger games, therefore more Blackpool fans are likely to attend against preston.I’am amazed some on here want to make special arrangements to house the drifting Pool fans who haven’t bothered going to a game yet but will come along for the Preston/Blackburn games and won’t bother turning up again this season.

At last a sensible response!!!I'd put tickets up so sale ASAP and then see how we go selling out the three stands first when we have decided what day its on and time of KO as can't see it being Sat 3pm giving the nobbers half of the East initially.
I was told last week there were no plans by the police to move the kick off time or day.We could really do with finding out what day and time this game is taking place. Purely for selfish reasons as I wouldnt be able to go if it’s moved to the Sunday!!
Fingers crossed then!! Would be amazed, and a little impressed, if it stays as a 3pm kick off to be fair.I was told last week there were no plans by the police to move the kick off time or day.
of course there is, if there wasn’t then why would teams who sell out the home ends even bother with an away allocation? There is no minimum allocation for away fans for league games.
Doh!! Because that's how you go about building and developing a fanbase, as opposed to going out of your way to prevent new fans from coming, perhaps? For safety reasons I don’t believe the club would give that section to away fans

Pretty sure the 10% only applies to cup gamesIf Preston only get 2,200 then I reckon they will only give 2,400 for the return fixture. The minimum you have to provide is 10% of your capacity.
15% for cup gamesPretty sure the 10% only applies to cup games
I have never seen any knobbers in the home end at Blackpool ever. I have seen the reverse a few times. The nobbers are going mad on their site they assume they will get 2200 tickets, which will sellout. Then they will bring another 3000 with no tickets, or some in the home end. All of which is laughable, they cant understand why we are stating they wouldn’t sell out the full east, as they take 7000 to t’rovers.
Its easy to explain,; history dear nobbers, you never sell out here, never had fans with no tickets, and definitely not had any nobbers in the home end. Amazing the delusion they have, we don’t guess, we know from previous visits that you don’t come here for some reason.
police having a meeting to discuss timings/away fans etc
