Given that our 1989/90 home shirt did feature once in the National Football Museums exhibition on the story of peoples first football kit, along with the fact that one was sold on eBay for £844 today.

I thought it would be interesting to share the stories of your first BFC shirt and do you even still have it?

This was my first Blackpool shirt, and I still have it along with the white away shirt with Bass in Red. Is it really worth that kind of money? Dunno what is wrong with me, but even though it wouldn't fit me very well, I cant quite explain why, but I couldn't sell it...

Mine was a late 60s kit, Christmas present, pale blue box, tissue paper, I nearly fainted with joy. A very memorable moment. Turned me into Tony Green, that kit.

Bought for me by my nan and grandad on the very day I was born. Next one was the inenco one.

I worked for Inenco, left just before they sponsored the club. I was the only friggin Pool fan in the place. Literally. Imagine how annoyed I was when my ex colleagues were telling me how great it was sitting in the directors' box etc. 😡

You weren’t the only pool fan in the place… There were at least three more of us😉

My first one was the Harry Feeney sponsored shirt. Only kid at my school to have it , probably due to going to school in Harrogate. There was a number of thefts from my schools changing rooms whilst i was there and my shirt was stolen. A few months later the villain was caught and my shirt returned to me as the school knew i was the only seasider at the place !

September 3rd 1969 tangerine shirt plain white shorts , tangerine socks with white bands ( Probably from Rawcliffes)

I had the 1983 Hobbot kit - the one with Tangerine stripes around the time of Keith Mercer and David McNiven. I was the only kid in my school with it!

I had the same, bought from Latus in Fleetwood. 78/9 I think. They only had kids size shorts in tangerine, hence the all tangerine. Scary thing is I remember being in the shop buying it.
