Anybody else notice that Tony Parr seemed to have lost his voice when he tried to make announcements towards the end of the match?
Hopefully he can't find it again.Anybody else notice that Tony Parr seemed to have lost his voice when he tried to make announcements towards the end of the match?
I believe Phil Trow has been asked back but due to his other commitments is finding it difficult to take the offer upMartin Booker is not much better in the lounge. Was up there yesterday and seems to have given himself the role of match day host - stick to doing what your job is mate because there were elements of the lounge yesterday that were a shambles for the money paid,
Poor formTony's time should be up - we're a better club than what he dishes up on a weekly basis and the club should invest in someone decent.
Exactly what I said yesterday, didn't this used to be a thing and we would always cheer is Preston were losing.I just wish he'd read the half-time and full-time results out.
Can't get any reception on my phone in the stadium.
Tony's downfall will be the day they get a decent PA system and everyone can hear how rubbish he is!The PA system is shockingly bad but TP is not exactly outstanding in his role.
100%Poor form
Tony is absolutely part of the fabric of BFC...I'd be disappointed to see him go
Fortunately we've changed our fabric and I don't think Tony suits the cut of the cloth these days. I cringe when I hear him.Poor form

We may have changed ‘the fabric’, but we haven’t changed the heart of the Club. Tony is Blackpool through and through and he’s spot on at the job…Fortunately we've changed our fabric and I don't think Tony suits the cut of the cloth these days. I cringe when I hear him.
Someone like Stuart Hall would be great!I think he is ok and not helped by a PA system that needs replacing. It would be good to have a number of guest presenters. Either comedians or through running a Blackpool's got talent type competion?
He had a good announcer's voiceSomeone like Stuart Hall would be great!
what about the stockport one? would be a popular addition and would do a grand jobI believe Phil Trow has been asked back but due to his other commitments is finding it difficult to take the offer up
Martin Booker is spinning plates up there
Needs more help
WhatPool fan or not, hes not a great PA.
Time to give someone else a go.
Strangely enough when others filled in for him, I could hear them clearly
What?What
I went in corporate for the first time ever on Saturday and thought it was brilliant apart from it stinking of a few too many knobbers who thought it would be good to go in corporate.Martin Booker is not much better in the lounge. Can’t beat a f@‘k off McMahon comment over the tannoyI still miss Chris Hull Senior (RIP)….THE voice of Bloomfield Road. Parr does absolutely nothing for me although clearly there aren’t any other candidates rushing to challenge for the mic.
Yes, one factor of why I'm not a big fanHe is definitely a big fan.
I have to say I was surprised he didn't boycott during the protests though.
that would be a freebie when we have quid a kid daySomeone like Stuart Hall would be great!
valid point that Maths hahaWhat I don't understand is why you would announce the crowd numbers and Man of the Match at a time when the whole stadium was bouncing, fans were in full voice and no one could hear a word he said. I still don't know who won Man of the Match.
We have the technology with the big screen - just use that and save our ears.
There were loads of birthday requests on Saturday, disappointed though that he didn’t read out ours for my dad’s 97th birthday on Wednesday..Always something to moan about isn't there.
Question : Why do you think he had lost his voice by the end of the game ?
Too many birthday announcements at half time ?
No, he's a fan, one of us, he was probably chanting " Preston get battered everywhere they go " in between announcing subs.
Ffs who do we want ? Diddy David Hamilton !!!
Although he probably wouldn’t have been able to hear it anywayThere were loads of birthday requests on Saturday, disappointed though that he didn’t read out ours for my dad’s 97th birthday on Wednesday..

Do you know it's interesting how some on here round on a lad who was probably about 15 at the time (Ramos) and Ian Chisnall for being Oyston sympathisers but let's not forget Tony wasn't quick at coming forward throwing his microphone in and joining us boycotting.I would keep him he's great. I will forgive volunteers working for the Oystons.
