I'm not sure who you're helping but if you're happy I'm glad for you.The obvious conclusion is the ref didn’t give it and we won 0-1. Happy to help.

Have a good evening pal. We won. And we'll only get better in the next few weeks.
Dodgy angle / photo...It's impossible to tell
If you look at that dodgy photo, Marvin's arm / hand looks like it's over the line and he was about 4 or 5 foot away from the goal line.... It's an optical illusion....Looks well over and makes today’s win better
Has anyone ever suggested a career as a defence lawyer? If you look at that dodgy photo, Marvin's arm / hand looks like it's over the line and he was about 4 or 5 foot away from the goal line.... It's an optical illusion....
Looks like Grimshaw will probably get a 3 game ban from the FA for this.
the referee and goalline technology ruled the ball had not gone in.
That one looks like it's on the other side of the side netting to me
No it wasn't.The goal was given move on FFS! The world is still debating 'that goal' from the 1966 WC Final, or 'the hand of god'.
Which game were you watching? The goal was given move on FFS! The world is still debating 'that goal' from the 1966 WC Final, or 'the hand of god'.
Sorry I'll editWhich game were you watching?
Sorry Kurt editedNo it wasn't.
Nothing wrong with the official. He accepted the technology which presumably he's obliged to do so.Happened to us last season, just highlights more incompetence of the officials.
agreed. watched it a zillion times in slow mo, foreshortened view, looks over but not conclusive. A smidge of the ball could of been levelIf you look at that dodgy photo, Marvin's arm / hand looks like it's over the line and he was about 4 or 5 foot away from the goal line.... the goal line is behind the goal on that angle, maybe thats the problem! That one looks like it's on the other side of the side netting to me
That's the thing though... I realise some people think I'm taking the piss here and they're producing what they believe to be conclusive evidence, but looking at something like that from certain angles can genuinely create the illusion that the ball is behind the line when it isn't.the goal line is behind the goal on that angle, maybe thats the problem!
Smallest picture ever produced? No wonder the ref missed it.
Follow the science people. There's lots of pictures that make it look like the ball was over the line and if I was a Huddersfield fan I'd be livid.
But I'm a Blackpool fan and I can see lots of optical illusions.
At the end of the day though we have goal-line technology, it's apparently been checked, so it wasn't a fcuking goal.
End of.
I'm more concerned about this picture.
Yep was shit when it happened to us. Weird how when you're down there like they are, luck doesn't seem even does it.It was over the line.
Fuck it, remember the perfectly good goal the ref and linesman disallowed in the QPR game last season. Easily cost us two points, I guess this is the ‘it evens it’s self out’ rule in play.
If a picture can turn Connolly into a child and Williams into the BFG then I'm just going to have discard them as evidence.I'm more concerned about this picture.
Didn't realise Connolly was a young boy and Williams a giant.
RubbishWas in their lounge after the game and they were very salty to say the least….
Ref must have been using a sundial to tell him if it was in or not
So you look at that photo and your telling me the ball is touching the line yes?agreed. watched it a zillion times in slow mo, foreshortened view, looks over but not conclusive. A smidge of the ball could of been level
You're actually using that shot as evidence? So you look at that photo and your telling me the ball is touching the line yes?
That was absolutely shocking
